    Lynx System

    We had United Alarm install the Lynx System with camera system a week ago and have had 3 sensor failures in that time. We are losing confidence in the system and considering returning the system.

    Installation of Alarm System

    I am so impressed with United Alarm Calgary,they have been very professional from day one to work with starting with the reception to courteous sales rep who explained everything to me Last but not the least the installer/tech knew what he was doing and his instructions were very clear. I would be recommending to all my friends and family around

    Return customer

    I was a customer with United Alarm, and ended up having to cancel a while back do to financial issue. I recently reactive my account with them and got a free upgrade. Found staff very helpful with everything and I was able to get it installed before the thanksgiving long weekend. Which I was very glad as I has out of town. Thank you united alarm u guys rock!

    alarm system

    This company has a motto: We are not happy until you're not happy. They do nothing to keep their customers and are rude and disrespectful, especially Satina, just as others have said. The positive reviews have obviously been input by themselves. Way to go, guys! But you'll get found out sooner or later.

    Alarm system installation

    I am very happy with my alarm system. United Alarm did a really great job. All the people I've talked were nice. I would recommend them to family & friends!

    Re-start service

    Great service on the phone with Satina, pricing was the best and install was the next day. Constantine just left - professional, polite and very knowledgeable. We're all set and ready to go, knowing our place is well protected.

    Alarm System

    I called United Alarms for a quote and customer service rep was friendly and fun - wasn't trying to sale you a whole bunch of stuffs just your needs and was patiences with me. price is reasonable and affordable. Hope i will continue to say it until the end of my contract.

    Security Monitoring

    I would like to say that I found everything about this company to be disrespectful. Not only did we have countless issues with our system, the customer service was horrible and rude to deal with. We had our system in our old home, when building our new home I made a request for United Alarm to come in to the home to wire the alarm. The customer services representative stated that I had a wireless alarm so no wiring was required. Sure enough when it became time to install the alarm I was told that I had a Semi "wireless" alarm and I would need to purchase and sign a new 3 year contract! Are you kidding me? After countless discussion we did sign a new contract as I was not interested in buying out the existing contract. Biggest mistake......the new wireless system kept having silent alarms....which United Customer service department state was user error...after months of false alarm charges, I decided to end the contract and buy out 75% of the remaining months. There was no consideration from United Alarms to the fact that due to them no wiring my house correctly when the request was made a new contact was then presented. United sent a letter stating that they will put a signature on the house if we did not pay the bill, payment arrangements were then made for $726.00. The worse part of this experience is that we are in negotiations to sell our home, so I get the lean sheet.....they put a lean on our house while I was still using their alarm system!!! I could not believe that a company while I am still using their product put a lean on my home for over $2200.00. When I contacted United Alarms they stated that I still owed $295.74!!! for interest.....WHAT more money are they totally crazy...... I regret putting an alarm system in our house...it would have been cheaper to let robbers take everything I own including the walls. I would never recommend this company to anyone.....if you question this review visits their offices....you have to buzz in through 2 doors...no wonder they have such high security! Save your money and buy a good insurance policy!

We do our best to meet and exceed every client's expectations, so it is disconcerting to hear that you are unhappy with your experience. We have been in business for over 20 years and have a 99.9% approval rating among our multitudes of customers. Unfortunately when it comes to removing systems and installing them in different homes, complications can arise because the alarm system was tailored to fit the original location and doesn’t always work in the new location. Our technicians are the best of the best, and if they can possibly install the system in the new home, they will. In regards to false alarm fees, these charges come directly from the Calgary City Police. United Alarm does offer a guard company that can respond if an alarm is triggered, instead of having the Calgary City Police dispatched to your home. Every client is given a choice between these two responses when they sign up, and also have the option of changing their chosen response at any time during their contract. All new alarm systems sold by United Alarm come with a one year warranty. If the system is malfunctioning because of faulty equipment or installation, we will send a technician to service the system free of charge. Like most alarm companies, United Alarm installs equipment on a monthly agreement without charging customers the full equipment cost up front. For this reason if there is a good indication that a client may not fulfill their contract, United Alarm will sometimes place a lien on the property. Once the contractual obligations have been fulfilled, the lien will be removed at no additional cost to the client. This is simply to secure United Alarm’s assets until the costs of equipment and labour are covered. We wish you the best and feel confident that if you ever again consider us to be your security provider, you will not be disappointed. It is unfortunate that your experience was less than positive, and if you decide to give us a call we will do our best to rectify the situation. United Alarm is known as the best alarm company for a reason, and we look forward to proving this even more in the future.

    Security System

    We had our security system installed with United Alarm in June 2012. We've had a security system with a different company a few years back; however, they didn't seem to want our business or give us any deals. We chose United Alarm due to their quick response, prices, and customer service. I'm quite satisfied with our wireless system. We haven't had any issues so far and the equipment is up to date and high tech.

    Alarm Monitoring

    Called for a free quote to have a wireless alarm installed and monitored. Response was fast and price was affordable compared to others. Install was quick. Equipment provided is new and quality Honeywell. So far so good!
