    Highly Recommend Reid's Roofing!!

    In 2016, I had another roofing company - not Reid's - replace the shingles on the low slope roof of my home and at the same time had an electrician install an exhaust fan in the main floor bathroom. That Christmas, during unusually warm weather and a family dinner, water started dripping down the dining room light onto the dinner table from the ceiling. After looking into the attic the following morning we found frost and ice everywhere – particularly around the area of the new exhaust fan. The shingle company came out and installed a few more whirlybirds thinking that would fix the problem. The electrician also came out and insulated the fan which should have been done during the initial installation. Neither action fixed the problem. Large stains on the ceiling started to appear in the main floor hallway and foyer. After two years and the staining simply getting worse without anyone seeming to know what to do, I called Reid’s in the fall of 2018. They had been recommended by a commercial engineering roofing company whose techs were trained by the experts at Reid’s on just the problem I was experiencing with my home – moisture in the attic. Pete from Reid’s came out and looked at the stains on the ceiling and the frost/ice in the attic. He analyzed the problem immediately and had two of his technicians booked to repair the problem the following week. Pete was so professional and knew exactly what the problem was as soon as he saw the stains on the ceiling as that’s the kind of roof repair Reid’s specializes in and he had seen dozens. Basically, the techs spray foam-insulated the attic, particularly around the exhaust fan but they went looking for spots where it appeared to need the insulation. And It Worked! I can’t tell you how relieved I was this past winter – or one year after the Reid’s repair – when I looked in the attic (several times) and couldn’t find one single spot of frost or ice – my attic was as dry as the day I bought my home!     Reshingling of roof

    Reids roofing was excellent to work with. I had several quotes from other companies who quoted 2000$ more for the same job. They worked efficiently, were polite and thoughtful and cleaned up very well. I would recommend this company every time.

    Shingles and eavestrough

    From our initial contact with Jake for an estimate on the work, to job completion, we were very impressed with everyone we had contact with at Reid’s Roofing. The shingles and eavestrough installers were very professional, worked nonstop, and did an excellent job. Our yard was cleaned up and the old troughs picked up within a day. And, everyone was pleasant and proud of their work. Tamara (in the office) and Jake were very helpful and took the time to make sure everything went well.     Complete roof

    I cannot say enough good things about this company. They are local to St Albert, they are the lost cost I investigated and I had quotes from many companies. Jake, Tamara and their staff are professional, presonalbe, and caring. They come when they say they will and do what they say they will. Last May I lost my 16 year old dog and one of her daughters. I have one daughter left. The crew was so kind to her, so aware of where she was and made sure -with a metal detector - no less, that there was nothing left behind that would hurt her. If you need your roof done, do not waste your time with anyone else, just call Tamara.

    Fantastic Service !!

    Reid's was very knowledgeable , professional and reliable! We had an issue with attic rain in our vaulted ceiling. Pete came and explained why , how to fix it and for a reasonable price. The process from the beginning to end was seamless ! WE could not be happier with Reid's Roofing! I would recommend them to anyone!!

    Prompt and courteous professionals

    My eavestrough filled with solid ice this last winter, and the weight of it brought it down in March, just as it was beginning to thaw. The snow on the roof was melting and dripping over the front entry, then turning to ice. Canada Post letter carriers refused to deliver the mail for the couple days it took to get Reid’s Roofing out to install new eavestrough. Their service was prompt and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Russ the installer did an excellent job. He was very courteous and professional. I highly recommend this company.

    replacing damaged eavestrough

    Weathermakers replaced our furnace and in the process damaged the corner of our eavestrough. They looked after getting the eavestrough replaced. I wanted a down spout add and this was done after approval by the office. The work was done in good time and property left clean. Very satisfied with the work. Personnel were friendly as well. Thank you

    removing old inulation and reinsuliting to todays codes

    Recently I had Reid's roofing come to my house and remove an ice dam off my roof. The technician they sent (Mark) promptly removed it and suggested I may have a underlying problem in my attic space causing this ice dam . After gaining access to my attic Mark investigated several deficiencies backed up by photos and measurements of existing insulation. With this information he forwarded it to his office ,where his boss Pete Neufeld could give me an estimate of possible repairs to prevent this from happening again. He gave me options on ways to fix this problem and in the end I went with the top option which included extracting the old insulation, spray foaming all penetrations looking for any deficiencies in the attic. At this point Mark and his helper Curtis came and started the work as described. I would just like to add both Mark and Curtis were extremely courteous and took time to protect floors with blankets. They made it a totally great experience. Peter from the office came out and kept me in the loop on all the steps they were taking during this process . He made my wife and I feel very comfortable and being updated during the whole job. I know they did a lot more work than my estimate allowed for but Peter stuck to his quote and finished the job. I have NEVER ,EVER been treated by any service or contractors in this positive manner in my life and would strongly recommend using this company to whom ever needs any roofing service related work done.(I know I will) .Once again thank you Peter for a great job and to Mark and Curtis for the over the top install.     Would highly recommend

    After receiving a number of quotes for attic insulation I went with Reids. Jake offered a couple different options/suggestions which was appreciated and pricing was on point. He was very easy to communicate with and he actually came to do the job as well which is nice. It's a good feeling when you can trust the contractors that come to your home.

    Attic repairs

    When selling our mothers condo it was discovered that there were some issues with the attic and insulation. We called Reid's Roofing as they had completed the exterior work at her condo complex. Pete had come over and gave us options and costs. Once the decision wad made they worked with in the constraints of our timeline to complete the work for us to successfully sell her place. The staff were informative and professional and I would recommend Pete and Reid's Roofing to any Edmontonian.
