    Attic Mold Inspection

    I noticed a little bit of mold on the wall and ceiling of my bedroom and was very concerned that there might be more mold in the attic. I contacted The Mold Guy. Ross came and inspected the attic and assured me that there was no mold there. He also explained to me what probably caused the mold on the wall and ceiling and what I could do to reduce the possibility of more mold developing. I was relieved and thrilled to hear this news. He also gave me some good tips about avoiding mold in other areas of my house. I am very pleased with the inspection done by The Mold Guy, and Ross in particular, and would recommend them highly.

    Thanks Evelyn, common misunderstanding about mold on the bathroom ceiling, it's typically surface mold, disinfect, wash, repair and re-paint with a mold and mildew resistant paint. No need to take down the ceiling....Cheers...Ross

    Basement

    Staff was very professional from my first phone call to finishing the job. Everyone I dealt with had good advice to give. We now have peace of mind that our home is safe to live in

    Mold Inspection

    I contacted The Mold Guy after we discovered a water leak in our basement. The inspection was thorough and we were informed of everything that was taking place. Ross was very understanding of my concerns and ensured there were no other damages as we have a 10 month old at home. Following the inspection we were told professional removal of our damaged furniture was not required and provided steps we should take to safely remove the furniture ourselves. We would definitely recommend The Mold Guy.

    Mold/air quality testing

    Even though they didn't detect any issues (good thing), it was worth every penny just to have the peace of mind. Very happy with our experience with the Mold Guy. They arrived very quickly, and were extremely efficient. Thanks again!

    leaking cold cellar

    This was a scary concern i had untill i called the mold guy! My cold cellar under my front porch was overtaken by black mold! In one day Ross showed up in short notice with his testing equipment besides my obvious concerns he was easily able to point out hidden issues I didn't even know about, better yet the price was great!!! The guys showed up two days after and removed the mold and educated me about my house with do's and don'ts. Everyone was quick, efficient and kind. Thanks Mold guy!

    Air Quality Test

    Needed to test the Air Quality in our home. Wondering if the Air Quality was contributing to health concerns. The Mold Guys were quick to come out, friendly and knowledgeable. Results were available to us in a couple of days. Great to know our home passed with regards to mold etc. Would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

    Mold inspection

    The Mold Guy was a pleasure to do business with. The appointment was quickly and professionally arranged. The mold inspector showed up on time and actually confirmed he was on his way 30 minutes before. The mold inspection was thorough and involved checking the air conditioning system, filters, vents and underneath the carpet. I strongly recommend The Mold Guy to anyone concerned about possible mold infestation following water intrusion, etc.

    Mold inspection in an older bungalow

    My wife and I recently completed a renovation on an older home, but realized we might have a mold issue that should be looked into. After checking HomeStars for ideas on who to contact, The Mold Guy seemed to be a very straightforward and simple option. Making the appointment was simple. Ross handled the inspection, and was extremely professional, yet very friendly at the same time. He gave me suggestions to solve our problem (which turned out to be less of a problem than we had first thought) and really did not try to sell me anything at all except his advice. After dealing with more than a handful of businesses during our reno, I've been able to spot a well run business versus the less than useful ones fairly fast. The Mold Guy is the former, without a doubt. I wouldn't think twice about recommending this company.

    Mold removal in kitchen

    The Mold Guy was very professional in terms of communication and efficiency. Their staff were great at answering questions and responding in a timely manner. Booking appointments was quick and easy. Overall, I was satisfied with the service. When I got home after they removed the mold, I appreciated that everything was tidy and clean. My only pain point is that I found scratches and dents on my wood floors where there was none before. Mine was a big job so perhaps they just had trouble maneuvering the heavy material and was trying to rush through it. Was still annoying to see nonetheless. I would still recommend The Mold Guy but suggest that customers remind the contractors to be more mindful when doing their work and maybe even put down safeguard material (like rugs).

    Attic mold removal

    I called them on a Tuesday and we got a schedule for the job on a Friday. They came on time and finished the job on time. They did an amazing job. I got the formal report and certification the same day. Nice job guys!
