    Attic Mold Removal

    The inspector of my buyer client discovered mold in the attic and the seller's agent recommended Mold Guy and I was very pleased about their service from the time Kay spoke with me. She was very helpful and explained the entire process. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who has mold issues!

    Attic and Cold Cellar Mold Removal

    Contacted the excellent team at the mold guy, described my issues, they were able to send people right away. staff showed up right on time. professional, courteous, took before and after images, fixed some issues with the insulation and gave some helpful tips to stop the mold from reoccurring. recommend them highly.

    Mold remediation in attic

    Value added service from the moment you call, providing information and insight regarding the issue, process for remediation, and without pressure-filled sales tactics. Suggestion is to vacate upper floor during remediation.

    Timely Assessment & Thorough Feedback

    After an AC unit leaked in my bedroom, soaking the carpet, I had The Mold Guy come to assess whether there was any mold. While I paid a little for this assessment, I appreciated the results. My roommate was home when Ross came, and he said Ross had a great sense of humour and checked all over my condo and not just the bedroom, and performed several tests. There was some mold in the corner of the room, and he gave instructions on how to remove it myself and to get rid of the carpet, and how to address the source. I called Ross afterward to ask some questions and he was very kind and took the time to answer all of my questions. Another company may have charged me thousands to come and do it themselves. I am now mold-free! I would definitely use this company again, though I hope I don't have to :)

    Check for mold in a basement

    Set up an appointment the same day with very friendly reception, she sent someone over in less than 3 hours. Ross showed up promptly, was friendly and professional, and talked me through the work he was doing. Had emailed results in less than 2 hours. Awesome service, I'd highly recommend.

    Test for mold

    I booked an appointment to have a mold inspection done. Ross came on time. He went around the entire house looking for visible signs. He found some mold in the basement laundry room (which were almost impossible to see unless you looked in the right lighting) and told me how to clean it. He also performed air quality tests on the main floor and in the basement. I had the results the next day and was happy to find there were no issues. The peace of mind is worth the cost.

    Mould Assessment and Removal

    If you have mould in your home or suspect that you do, then call The Mould Guy. Both Ross and Lucas were professional, strategic, direct, reasonable and reassuring in how they provided their service. After mould was detected, they sent a team to remove the mould. They did so ahead of schedule and performed a really clean and precise job. I absolutely recommend them and would recommend them to anyone.

    Great customer service! Great results!

    Kay and Brittany were easy to talk to and helped arrange the service with ease. Phil and Joey we're professional and friendly - they were very punctual, too! Ross, the inspector, was knowledgeable and able to provide suggestions/referrals on the spot for other service companies, Overall, a very pleasant experience after finding an unwanted problem.

    Mold on the closet walls!!

    I had mold on two closet walls, I was made an appointment and their inspector came out the next day! He was very helpful and even explained how to remove and clean it up myself so I do not spend a lot of $$ Thanks!!!

    Mold Inspection

    When I called in, I was given a lot of information about the mold inspection, and what it will cover. Part of the things mentioned was that a thermal imaging device will be used to see if there is any water leakage anywhere. This was one of the deciding factors which I decided to get it done. During inspection, no thermal imaging device was ever used. Ross did a somewhat thorough inspection, although there were areas that he missed completely, such as the garage. The control sample for a mold inspection should be taken at least 10-20 feet away from the structure, however Ross took the measurement right on the front porch, which is within 6 feet of the cold cellar vent. I was also told I would be e-mailed some additional information, which I never got in the end.

Many people go to the internet for information on mold and there is a lot of misinformation or just too much information which people will take as fact. I have taken a multitude of indoor air quality courses over the years and the general thought is..the control can be taken at the front door if chosen or the hallway if chosen or 10- 20 feet away from the property if chosen, the point is...it's subjective. The thermal imaging detects temperature differentials which we just don't have this time of year and at the end of it we just end up verifying the thermal image with a moisture meter anyways. At the end of it I hope you were satisfied with the outcome of the indoor air quality test and please don't hesitate to call me anytime if you have any further questions...Cheers..Ross.
