We listed our home for sale on Saturday, January 30. There was a great deal of traffic through our home for the next four days and we accepted an offer that was conditional upon a thorough inspection on Tuesday, February 2. The inspection was set to be complete on Thursday, February 4. As we waited for the results, we were somewhat nervous, but being very diligent home-owners we did not think that the inspection would reveal anything bad. Horror of horrors, the inspector found mold in the attic. Thankfully, our buyers were agreeable and wanted it cleaned. We reviewed available companies on HomeStars Thursday evening, and called The Mold Guy that same night. I left a voice-mail message and was promptly called back the following morning and after given a thorough explanation of the mold removal process, we agreed to their terms and an appointment was set for Monday, February 8 at 7:00 AM. The team from The Mold Guy came in at 6:59 and promptly setup covering our bedroom furniture, and our walk-in with plastic. They executed their tasks in a very thorough manner with minimum fuss and a high degree of professionalism. After two hours of works, they announced that they were finished and gathered their things, removed the garbage and left. What can I say about the company and the team? Simply put - they exceeded my expectations. Now, since you do not know me, I will let you in on a secret - I'm very difficult and my standards are quite exacting, so that statement, exceeded expectations is neither quickly nor easily said. Definitely will recommend this company to my referral group, my friends, and my family.

We had another company do an air quality test for mold in the lower level of our home, and their results came back that we had a mold infestation which required containment and remediation. We were surprised by the findings and suspicious of the recommendations for costly remediation. We called the "Mold Guy" and asked if they could provide a second opinion. We shared the results of the first lab test and arranged for Ross to come out the next day. Ross came in on his day off, advised us to do a few simple things (remove cardboard boxes, and old moving blankets) and retested the air for mold. The test results which came in on the same day indicated clean air in the lower level and Ross advised that we did not need to do the expensive remediation recommended by the other company. Why were the two samples so different? Ross was able to point to a few simple things that may have caused the first air sample to give a high mold count. He suggested we do these simple things and the second air test passed. I believe in this approach. You do the easy things first...and if they do not work, then you try the more difficult and costly things. Ross was knowledgeable, practical and very time efficient in dealing with this issue. He also arranged for same day testing and lab results along with his report which was sent from his office within 5 hours of testing. Very impressive! Finally, the costs of the Mold Guy for Testing was almost 50% of the other company. I would highly recommend Ross and his team at the Mold Guy for analysis and recommendations for remediation for any situation where there is suspected Mold Contamination. I wish I had used the Mold Guy initially as it would have decreased our frustration and anxiety caused by another Mold company.

I would highly recommend this company. Called and had someone out the next day to see & quote. We called later that day to book for the following week, left a msg, and actually got a booking call back on Sat night for service to be done on Mon. Very professional team (apt booker, service men) they showed up on time, very tidy, had floor protection down, and did the job effiecently. They were not busy on their cell phones every 30 mins, they were here to work and did a great job. Saw pictures of before & after. All I Can say, is DONT try to do it yourself (videos look easy) this is not an easy job. Its a skilled job, with specific tools & and cleaners, leave it to the professionals. I would recommend them to my parents, and anyone I know. And I don't recommend easily, it must be proven and earned. They went above that and deserve an 11 out of 10.

The Mold Guys responded to my call immediately. They were very professional, discrete and cleaned my attic thoroughly. Their workspace was clean and my house was left spotless. I was given excellent advice about future mold prevention and remediation. Office and front line workers were a pleasure to deal with.

We've received a very good service back in January 2015! The work has been scheduled promptly and completed in one day. After the mold removal, we waterproofed one wall in the basement and installed a few air vents in the attic. A year has passed and we had no mold issues ever since. I definitely recommend this company to help save your property from a mold.

They did what they said they would do, and even went above and beyond, leaving a machine behind for my window installer to use as well as the tarped-off area.

I researched many company and decided to call the Mold Guy. From the moment I spoke to Kay , I knew the reviews were true! These guys are legit! I found them helpful and informative. Ross came out 2 days later to inspect my son’s bedroom. We were afraid that the mold could be harmful to his health. Ross was thorough, very knowledge and professional. He reassured us that this was not a big issue and that was caused by high humidity from our upstairs bathroom. He gave us tips on how it could be easily be cleaned up, without an expensive process.
