    Mold Inspection and possibly remedial

    I called the Mold guy yesterday. Ross was very helpful and very informative. I paid $150 for his service to inspect and possibly recommend if it can be fixed by DYI project. He recommended to use bleach since the mold is not crazy and just very small spot. I was happy at his service. If you are not sure if you will be using him as a contractor, I will not recommend him because you need to pay him $150 upfront. I got different contractor did the same stuff (1 day later), for $0. Also, my guess is I also took the blame because I agree for the $150 fee beforehand. I should've waited for other companies to come first.

    Mold Removal from Sheeting in Attic

    I was given a quote over the phone for $1,900 plus tax by Kay, based on assessment by Jason from Insta Insulation (saw him on Holmes on Homes TV Show). Jason recommended that I contact The Mold Guy for mold removal. I asked that a technician from the Mold Guy go out and confirm work required. Ross (owner) went out to assess and quoted $2,400 plus tax. This is five hundred dollars higher than initially quoted. When I asked Ross why the difference, he stated that his guys would have a hard time getting into the lower attic of my split level house. I contacted Kay and she agreed to charge $2,200 plus tax. After the job was done, I spoke to supervisor who did the work, because I was only given before and after pictures of the upper attic, not the lower attic. I also asked him if he had any trouble getting into the lower attic. He said he did not because he just lowered himself down. Overall, I was satisfied with responsiveness. However, I was disappointed that price changed and that before and after pictures of the lower attic were not taken.

    Thanks for the review Lindon, the price change can happen due to unforeseen circumstances and this was before the work was scheduled. The quote over the phone was for a standard attic, upon my inspection there were two attics and the lower one had no direct attic access which makes the access tedious. Regardless the attic was considerably larger than the quote over the phone. Overall though we're glad you were pleased with the work done.....Cheers Ross

    Attic Remediation

    From my first contact with Kay to my follow up with Trudy this was a first class experience. The crew was very professional and efficient and the job extremely well done. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks for everything!!

    Mold Inspection

    The problem started when I was quoted one price of a lesser amount ($300) and charged another ($350). I had only contacted this company so it's not like I had confused quotes. The good thing is that the inspector did come quickly But I had to reach out to the company to get my report. I sent an email a week later (which they responded to quickly) and the inspector called the same day and left a voicemail. Unfortunately I was traveling so I didn't get back to him for a bit (I can't recall how long). I called him and left a voice message. A week went by and still nothing so I had to send yet another email (again they responded quickly). My 2 stars goes to the fact that the team responded quickly and professionally.

    basement mold

    Workers were very helpful in how to store materials and what to do. they made sure everything was cleaned up properly. They also followed up in an appropriate manner. thanks

    Attic Mould

    Sold house. Buyer inspection reported mouod in the attic. Called a handful of companies. I find the price for the length of service is way to expensive from all of them but decided to use these. Kay extremely helpful & polite on the phone. All 3 guys that came to do the job were really nice. Arrived on time. Extremely polite. 6am start was a little bit of a shock but completed by 8.45am. Overall review - I would recommend for sure.

    Clean out cellar, treat and repaint+ clean other areas of the home

    The Mold Guy went above and beyond to help my family and I. From the very first phone call to the prompt and thorough service we knew we were working with honest and trustworthy professionals. Our cellar room no longer leaks and there is certainly not a trace of mould. We were great fun for the air scrubber which they gave us for extra time. Thank you for all of your help at such a turbulent time.

    Mould Remediation

    I have used "The Mold Guy" services a few times and found they offer reliable service at reasonable rates. We found mold build up in the attic of a home that was being sold and were able to get the Mold guy over for a quote quick to asses the damage and come up with a solution that helped sell the home with no hick ups or delays.     Mold removal

    I'm a small landlord who needed to address a mould problem in the basement of the rental property. The mould was due to a leaky foundation. I called The Mould Guy, they sent someone the day for an estimate and were able to start the job the day after. They came in at 9am and finished by 2pm. They stuck to the quote they provided and the basement is now mould-free and smells a lot fresher.

    Mold in attic

    Contacted "The Mold Guy" and immediately was impressed with the Kay's customer service skills and her warm reception. The service men - a team of three good young guys were on time, courteous and did a fine - neat, job. When finished they explained everything to me and showed before and after photo's. Good job !
