    Basement Mold Removal

    We discovered black mold in our basement a few weeks before my wife was due to give birth. Trudy was very helpful to assure that our mold was removed professionally before the due date. The mold experttook every precaution to keep us safe and did an excellent job to remove and clean the room. We have not had any mold return since the job was done in September. I was very happy with the work and feel that it was worth every!

    Mold in my attic

    I was devastated to find out that I had mold in my attic. I am a single mom of 3 and when I started smelling something funky, I called The Mold Guy, a VERY HIGHLY recommended company from a family member. Knowing absolutely nothing about mold or how its removed, I spoke to Kay at The Mold Guy. Kay was very helpful and explained in detail how their services would work for me. She scheduled Ross, a certified mold inspector to come to my house the very next morning. Ross took great care of us and explained everything in a way that I could understand. I received a quote the very same day to have the mold removed. The price was great so I hired The Mold Guy to clean up the mold for us. The team of guys that came to the house were both friendly and extremely professional. I would definitely recommend The Mold Guy to anyone. ~ One Very Happy, Satisfied Customer

    Mold removal from an IT room.

    We had a leak in our office's IT room which caused water and mold damage to the wall, floor and on some boxes of equipment. The Mold Guy's crew did an amazing job with all of the clean up and told removal in a safe and timely manner. The room was cleaner when the were finished, then from when the leak first happened. Very impressed with the work and I would highly recommend these guys to anyone :)

    Mold Inspection

    I highly recommend this company!! I was very nervous to hear that my newly purchased home may have mold and luckily I called the right place. Kay and Ross had outstanding customer service. Ross was able to inspect my home and explain to me that it wasn't a mold problem at all. I was so relieved!!! Thank you so very much to the whole Mold Guy team for helping me and my family. We couldn't be happier!

    Attic Mold Removal

    We were days away from listing our house for sale and our home inspection revealed mold in the attic. We called the Mold Guy and had an estimate the same day. 2 days later The Mold Guy came by and cleaned the attic - they're very reasonably priced, performed the remediation in a very discreet and professional manner, and the service was completed within the estimate timeline. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend The Mold Guy. Special thanks to Kay for being so accommodating!

    Basement mold check and removal

    Beware of this company. This company has no integrity and no customer service. Quoted and charged us for 1 full day of work. The workers worked at our house for 3 1/2 hours. When the two workers were in my basement, I asked them what was the terrible smell in my bathroom. They had the bathroom door shut and when I opened it, the smell was so strong I could not breathe. They said they did not know what this smell was and that they did not ever smell this before. They said that it was probably sewer gas and we should call a plumber. Turns out they poured their chemicals and cleaning products down our shower drain in the bathroom next to where they were working. That same night after they left our house the smell got so strong it was coming through my heat vents etc. and our eyes were burning and we could not swallow and our throats were sore. We got so scared, I called Ross and told him what was happening and he said he did not know what it could be other than a drain or plumbing issue. He came over to our house the next day and smelled our drains and said "yes, this is our cleaning/chemical products" and that they had been dumped down our drain by his two workers. He did not offer an apology or show any concern for what was happening to us. We did not know at first what this was, we just knew how the smell was effecting our breathing and our eyes and throats. This was a very scary experience for us. We had even called two plumbers the night before. Ross did not care about any of this. It has now been over 1 week and we still smell it in our house. If you want a company that actually cares about you and your home, do not hire this company.

    For everyone reading this let it be a cautionary tale. Our containment barriers and equipment are there for your safety while we remediate and sometimes left on site afterwards to continue cleaning the air which was the case here. The bathroom in question was inside of our containment area, the chemicals in question are non-hazardous derived from essential oils such as Thyme, Oregano and Lemon and it’s our common practice to flush or put any excess down the drain after we finish disinfecting, it is a fresh smelling product that dissipates quickly. The next day I was on site to address your concerns and the odour of our product was barely detectable and could only be identified when you put your nose directly on the shower drain. When I arrived I found our containment barrier had be taken down and our equipment shut off. Kathy I was very apologetic for what you were going through but you forgot to mention that my guys did a phenomenal job that you and your brother were very happy with…..Cheers…Ross

    cold room - mould everywhere

    Phil and his crew were able to remove all mould and identified a few areas to be be treated. From assessment to removal, the company did what they promised and finished early to boot. thanks everyone.

    Basement Apartment Shower

    My son and his wife were very concerned when they discovered what looked like mold in their basement aptartment shower. As a concerned parent I helped them search out a company that specializes in mold. That's when we found "The Mold Guy" When I called I spoke with Kay. She was friendly, caring, informative and listened. She was quick to set up for someone to do an inspection....within 24hrs! This was very impressive as we were all very concerned that what we found in the shower was mold. A very informative, kind and understandable gentleman named Ross came out to conduct the inspection. He was very professional and patient with us. He thankfully did "not" find any mold, it was mildew. What a load off our minds! Ross did not belittle our concerns after finding out it was not mold. He repected our concerns and explained in detail the difference between mold and mildew. He also recommended in detail how to clean up the mildew and also the grout. He was reasonable with the cost and didn't conduct any unnecessary testing. Which we really do appreciate! I will definitely recommend "The Mold Guy" to anyone I come in contact with that has any concerns about what they feel may be mold!! Thank you Kay & Ross for putting our minds at ease!! Cynthia O.

    Basement

    After Kay handled my call in a friendly and helpful manner, Ross came and looked at things, explaining in clear terms what had to be done to rectify my situation. It felt good to know that the people doing the work had experience and were well spoken about their company and qualifications. Lucas and the team came over on time and completed the work in a thorough fashion, leaving no stone unturned and no trace of past problems. They removed all debris and had the job well done in good time. I felt satisfied to find the right people for a tough job and would be sure to recommend them to anyone needing to rid their home of a mold issue. Tough job well done.
