I have relied on the services of Stephen Stern, now of Levstein and Stern for close to a decade. His services have been prompt and, enthusiastic. Unlike many other plumbers who are rude and obnoxious, he has always had a positive and respectful attitude. I also have not had the experience of over charging, and surprise added charges. Also, it helps to have a Master plumber with so many years of experience ready and able to objectively evaluate diagnose and assess problems particularly in condo buildings where a second and objective opinion is needed for example for leaks effecting common areas. More often than not, relying on a plumber that your super suggests will result in over charging, unecessary and added services or biased evaluations.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

We used Stephen to diagnose our problems with our main bathroom toilet. Given it was extremely old, we were advised it would be less expensive to get a new one. He was really helpful in sourcing a new one for us. He got it for us really quickly and did a great job installing it. He also took our old toilet away, which really helped. We have already recommended him to friends and wouldn't hesitate to use Levstein & Stern for any further plumbing problems we may have.Answer from pro:

Ari from Levstein & Stern Plumbing Limited has been my go to plumber for many years now. He brings excellent customer service along with superior plumbing skills. What this means for me is he doesn't mess around, he is able to diagnosis and fix an issue quickly. He is always professional in his actions and fair with his pricing. I had a crack in my basement laundry tub. Ari was very responsive to my call and booked the job right away. He replaced the laundry tub very professionally and I was very happy with that job! The entire process was cost effective and time efficient. Thanks!Answer from pro:
Thanks Dan, I really appreciate you time to leave a review. Although you did need a laundry tub, because the concrete one was cracked and leaking, as per our conversation, I apologize for not putting all of the sings together and diagnosing a building trap problem at the same time. I should have cameraed the laundry tub drain and the main drain instead of believing the backing up was isolated to the laundry tub drain.

I have known Ari for a couple of years. I met him when I needed some work done in our home. There were times when I was desperate for a plumber and he was able to come right away or within a few hours. Ari is able to assess problems quickly and is able to fix them on the spot. He is very thorough, efficient and mess free! He always has supplies handy and completes each job on the same day. I have always been happy with his work and would have no problem referring Levstein and Stern to others.Answer from pro:

We hired Ari to take apart our old laundry room and move it to the other end of our basement. This involved moving the plumbing and drilling through the foundation of our house to vent the new dryer. Ari was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. The best part was that we didn't need to micro-manage the project. When he realized he needed different materials than he thought, he went and got them without our having to be involved, and when he came across a frozen pipe in our wall that could have been a huge problem, he just went ahead and fixed it. Having a professional just do the job properly from beginning to end made our lives way easier. Also, the basement when Ari left was cleaner than when he found it. Ari was very helpful in being able to accomodate me the same day I phoned him. He stayed in touch throughout the day keeping me informed as to his timing. He showed up when he said he would and was able to locate and fix the problem in a short period of time. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for an honest and informed professional.
