I'd rather Deal with the Devil

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Charged over $300 for a 20 minute visit in which only an inexpensive small fuse was replaced. When I phoned the company to complain they would do nothing and said they would not be at all bothered receiving ANOTHER scathing review. They were happy with their low on-line ratings. They have a 1-star rating on several major review sites.

    dryer repair

This company is charging $80.00 to show at your front door and then additional 215 dollars to tell you what is wrong with your appliance. If you don't want that, you still have to pay 80.00 just for nothing. We ended up paying $333.00 for nothing because they wanted to charge us $800.00 to fix the appliance. A new one costs less. They terribly overcharge. Stay away!

$300 just to tell me whats wrong

They say $80 service charge but thats to drive to your house. $300 to tell me whats wrong with the washer. Then they tell me it's $500 for the pump it needs. The part was only $100. They wanted me to pay a total of $850 to replace a $100 pump. When I called them about it, they treat you like your dumb and have no idea about how things are. I hope these guys go out of business!!!!!!

    Dishwasher repair

Dishwasher was leaking water, repairman came out and found glass in the machine, he unclogged the lines, then proceeded to remove the door to check on the bottom seal. After inspection he recommended that the seal be replaced. I inspected it myself and found no issues with it. Told him to reattach the door and we will see if the problem was fixed. It was and the leak was corrected. He wrote on the bill that he thought the door should be replaced at a price of $1000+. Of course since all was working I said no. After he had left I used the dishwasher a few times and immediately noticed that when opening the door it would fall to the floor as if the springs were not connected. I called the service department back and asked that they send someone out to fix it. They came out a few days later with an attitude that nothing was wrong on their repair. Even after showing him the problem he insisted I need a new door and hinge assembly. Of course I complained to him saying that the previous serviceman must have installed something incorrectly but he insisted that it was my cost and a new door would be $1400+. He then walked out saying it was not their problem. I complained to the service desk but was given the same answer. So now I was out $350 and still had a problem. frustrated I called someone else to look at it and they found that the back spring was not attached and fixed it. Dishwasher is now working great, do not use the Appliance Repair Team as they are unknowledgeable and did terrible work..

    Fridge repair

This company isn't legitimate. The technician they sent was no where near competent. After reading some other reviews here I suspect that their plan is to get people to pay for the diagnosis and then tell the customer that the part is more expensive then the appliance is worth. Talking to management resulted in them refusing to come out to do what they had agreed to do for the money that they were charging and instead offering to reduce the cost for the service call where the technician effectively did nothing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

    Oven repair

Horrible service. After the initial conversation with an agent I booked a technician. A person who arrived informed me that I needed to pay $290 upfront just to diagnose the issue. The repair itself would cost anywhere from $10-900. The worst part was that the agent misinformed about the cost of service and sold a service under a false promise. Turned out its a common story and people get charged insane money without problems being fixed.

    Fridge Repair

AVOID. Have already reported company to Better Business Bureau and credit card company. Fridge would only cool to 55F (should be 37). Repair person came, said I needed to order compressor for $3000 to repair, but he could fix enough until I ordered the part. So I paid him over $300, and nothing improved, fridge still was 55. Called to complain, they said nothing could be done until I ordered the part. Ended up calling another company who ordered a part for $350 (wasn't even compressor), and fridge is working perfect now. Avoid at all costs.

    Terrible company and service

Absolutely terrible and unreliable company. The technician came and diagnosed our issue, charged us $300 to fix it and then told us the part was discontinued and couldnt be fixed. Were now out $300 for him to sit on our kitchen floor on his phone for 15 minutes (without a mask on by the way) and we need to purchase a new microwave. I called their customer service to be refunded the difference between the diagnosis quote ($80) and the amount to fix it and they hung up on me! DO NOT USE.

    LG Washing Machine Service Call

Technician charged $300 for a five-minute assessment. Said the drum in the 3-year old washing machine needed replacement. The cost to replace was more than the machine cost three years ago. We threw him out. Turns out LG offers a lifetime warranty on the drum, which the unscrupulous technician failed to mention. What a waste of $300. Never again!
