Paid 300 to diagnose the problem, NOT fix it! Repair quote was an additional $1000 plus tax. Disgusting service, they were late, and a complete and utter waste of money.

I am fuming. This service person charged us over$1,500 dollar to replace a part that when examined after replacement clearly did not need to be replaced! My wife challenged him when the old part came out and appeared to be fine and he flippantly dismissed the concern. When I later examined the part it became obvious to me that we had been swindled. To add insult to injury, we had to source the part ourselves because they were taking too long to source it!! We're not the appliance repair company and we sourced the part faster than they could!! Does this part look like it is worn out in this area?!

Took the fridge apart put it back together told me he would come back in a month when the part comes in. Charged us $300.00 for 4o minutes of work. Showed up in a small toyota with no parts. I had the fridge fixed the following day for $160.00 and the guy had all the parts. It took him 30 minutes.

They came to my home, did an inspection, told me they needed to charge $300 to fix the oven. Then after "fixing" told me it still did not work and need to order parts, cost around $1400 and need to pay almost $900 up front. I was told 3-4 weeks but almost 3 months later they have not called me to provide any update on when I can expect my parts and cancellation only if I pay cancellation fee, shipping, handling and restocking fees.... when I call them, their customer service reps are rude and do not call back when they say they will even though I have been polite and respectful at all times. They do not care and are not willing to help their customers, only willing to take their money and make excuses. Do not use this company!

saw the reviews first and then called multiple companies, everybody was saying they can only come next week, i could not wait because it was a fridge. so i called them to see when they were available, tech showed the same day and before you know in less then 2 days my fridge was working fine. I guess i just prefer convenience over money. In addition the guy was proffesional that is a thing you dont see with these technicians.

Do not use this company. They showed up, did a diagnostic, said it would be 300 to fix the machine. I agreed and paid him. He spent another 10 minutes working on it and said it would be an additional 700 to actually fix the machine.

Ge Profile dishwasher...Well, add me to the list...80.00 arrival fee. Quoted 240.00 for labor, which would having the 80 absorbed into the 240.00. the 240.00would include any part installation cost. I am told it needs a sump inlet pump and the cost is 458.56. Considering Im 240.00 into it, I feel I have no choice. After the part installation, I google the part#...42.15. More then 1000% mark up!! I call Clarice. She says there is a a labor component in the part price. I tell her the tech said all labor is 240.00. She says sorry for the misscomunication, and, it is what it is...total price guagers... do I feel stupid for not doing 5 minutes of research on these criminals...

A technician came for a visit ($80). He said he knew how to fix our fridge and it and it would be an additional $200. He worked on it for ~5 min and said it was good to go and left. It never worked so we called again. Then they said it now needed a control board which would cost $300 more. The next tech came to install the control board but it still did not work. Next they said it was a temperature sensor. When that too didn't work, over $600 later, they next said we need a $1400 compressor. We gave up and bought a new fridge for $1100. The company said they would pay us $50 not to post any negative reviews. No thanks!

I called Appliance Repair Expert (https://www.appliancerepairteam.ca/) for a gas stove problem. After spending an hour the tech indicated I need parts totalling $520, including $180 for an hour labour and HST, I paid a $500 deposit for a $790.00 bill. After the second visit during which the installed parts did not fix the problem, the tech indicated the wrong parts were ordered. After a follow-up phone call, Appliance Repair Expert indicated that parts could not be found, and to their credit, I was reimbursed for the parts but not for the labour. I was able to fix the problem myself having found the solution on U-Tube - a Q-tip with hydrogen peroxide cleaned out the gas orifices of the simmer function of 3 burners that were previously not functional. I went back to Appliance Repair Expert for a refund on the labour which I indicated I paid in good faith relying on their technical expertise to fix the problem which they could not do but I did with a little research. My recommendation to you is try U-Tube for your problem before you call this company. I do not recommend Appliance Repair Expert.

Never ever recommend this company, paid 280$ for a useless visit. They said 80$plus tax visit, few min after opening the dishwasher, the technician said it is a flat rate of 280$ and it doesn’t need parts. Half an hour late, and suddenly need a part of 775$ on top of the 280$ I couldn’t trust the service and I had to stop here to control the damage and I lost 300$. This is a set up.
