Mike Scott is a complete professional. I got quotes from several concrete contractors before selecting Mike and I am most pleased with my decision. Mike and his team showed up when they said they were going to, cleaned up each night and finished the project within the timelines we established. Moreover, they were very respectful to my neighbours. The concrete slab is excellent. I requested that there be a few minor changes and Mike and his team graciously acknowledged them and completed as per my request – excellent customer service. We needed to replace the concrete walkway between our home and our next door neighbours. We were concerned that the work not damage the foundation wall parging on either home, and would rectify drainage issues we've had. Mike responded quickly to our request for a quote, and was able to schedule the job quickly too. He and his crew did a great job, taking great care to correct the grade and marry the new concrete with the existing parging. His quote was competitive, the quality of the work was excellent, and his crew are professional, polite, and accommodating. We're very pleased with the results.

Our 100-year-old home was in need of new parging on the exterior wall. I chose M. Scott Home improvements for this project after seeing the company's completed parging work on a neighbour's home. We are very pleased with his work, particularly the quality workmanship.

A month ago, I had no idea what parging was, but I knew the concrete lining our outside basement entrance badly needed help. In response to my email and photos, Mike came over, gave us a very detailed description of what needed to be done on the stairwell and on some other stone and brickwork, and a clear written estimate for the job. He and his assistant were fantastic - they did everything exactly as described, were very professional, tidiedup everything between visits (because of rain they had to come on 3 separate days) and when the job was complete. It was a pleasure working with Mike.

I needed my driveway done because I was selling my house. I had a specific time frame. Mike was able to quote on and complete the job as required. The driveway looks better than it when I bought the house 18 years ago. Thanks Mike & Team for a great job!

My 50 year old garage floor had some deep cracks and was eroded underneath. I called M Scott Home Improvements and Mike responded with a fair quote addressing all of my questions. Throughout the work, the team was very professional and courteous, conscientious and paid attention to the smallest detail. I was very impressed with the great care and respect for my property, even laying tarps on the driveway. The work was completed within two days and Mike checked in throughout the process to ensure that all was well. I am very pleased with the quality of their work and would highly recommend this company.

We have now used Mike's services twice for waterproofing. The first was on an emergency basis when we were flooded with 4 inches of water in our basement. The second time was when we started to notice a bit of dampness in our basement. In both cases Mike provided a quote that beat the other bids we received. More importantly he consistently did what he said he would and by the time he said he would. His crews were service minded and professional. The job site was always tidy and the work proceeded without delay. Also, Mike is just a nice humble guy who's easy to deal with. He inspires trust which is super important for me.

After calling M. Scott Home improvements, Mike responded and we met with him the same day. Besides being handsome, he took time to reassure us that we would be pleased with his work, and we were certainly impressed! Mike and his team did an excellent job in removing the old concrete in our front sidewalk and replacing it with a fresh, designed, striking walkway. Even the neighbours commented about his fine workmanship. The project was done in 2 days, left in immaculate condition and the price was reasonable! Mike was friendly, professional and took pride in his work, calling long distance to see if we were happy. We plan to have him do other projects. Thanks Mike for a super job.

I am really happy with the new concrete pathway and patio along the side of my house. Michael (of Scott's Home Improvement) and his team do excellent work! What do we all want when we call a contractor? Fine craftsmanship and reasonable pricing...along with good advice, gentle care for your property and a guarantee! Mike and his team are professional, efficient, the workers are polite. The workers had to dig the North East wall by hand. Our walkway is very small. Mike give us a date for them to come and the date they will be finished. They were on time. They have clean up after the mess. We had a heavy rain and the wall in the basement is dry. Yes, I would recommend Mike and his workers.
