    Repaired KitchenAid Range Cooling Fan

    Rick was easy to schedule, in and out in under 30 minutes. After receiving an outrageous quote from KitchenAid's own customer service arranged repair I checked Homestars and found Rick. Very satisfied.

    Dishwasher Installation

    I am sorry that I am so sorry for this review but I highly recommend Rick Appliance repair. I bought a new dishwasher prior to Christmas at one of the Sears stores that was closing. It turns out that it did not have all of the parts needed for the installation. Sears would not help me. Rick told me what was needed and I contacted BOSCH USA to get a list of the parts and serial numbers. I contacted a parts distributor in Mississauga as BOSCH would not ship to Canada. All the parts were in stock and I got them In time for Rick to do the install. It took about 2 hours to do the install and the dishwasher is running great. Thank you Rick. I have no qualms about using his company again.

    Kenmore Electric Range - repairs to oven

    The oven of my Kenmore Electric Range heated up very slowly and would not hold at the set temperature; it would cool. Rick responded promptly to my request. He diagnosed the problem in a short time, obtained the replacement part and returned my oven to new working condition. He is prompt and professional at his work. I am very satisfied

    Electrolux Fridge Repair

    The temperature in my refrigerator unexpectedly went from 3 degrees Celsius to 13-15 degrees and remained that way no matter what I tried. My wife found Rick on HomeStars, so I called him the following morning and he was able to identify the cause as soon as I explained the problem in detail. He came over a few hours later and was well prepared with a replacement system board in hand. All in all, my fridge was back up and running in less than 24 hours and we couldn't be happier with Rick's prompt and very professional service! We'll gladly recommend him to anyone that encounters a sudden issue with their appliances!

    repaired my dryer

    rick sent his son to repair my dryer. he carefully assessed the problem. and spent dedicated time to repair my dryer. I went with the homestars review initially & wasn't sure of the quality of work. I am very happy with the recommendation after my dryer was fixed.. and I would highly recommend rick & his group for repairs. Rick was also highly responsive & phoned me after to provide details. there are many repair companies that didnt' even take the time to respond back. Rick stands out in the competition as someone who is attentive, responsive & gets the job done within a reasonable price. I would go to him immediately again if I had any appliance repair issues

    Fridge Repair

    Rick ordered parts to repair a low-quality fridge that I'd bought new two years prior. He installed the new parts but it didn't fix the fridge. I ended up buying a new fridge with a better warranty. I'm giving Rick a top rating because he gave me a lot of his time, at least a few hours, tinkering with my fridge to fix it and then he charged me nothing. I've hired Rick in the past and I will continue to hire him and recommend him to friends and family.

    Dryer Repair

    Our Whirlpool dryer was making noises that I knew we couldn't ignore anymore. Rick came as soon as he could, he was very knowledgable and was able to explain other problems I have ignored in the past. Apparently the blower from the dryer has only been working at 50% capacity that's why it's been taking so long to dry our clothes, plus the back hose came out. He gave us a reasonable quote and called the next day after he ordered the parts. His partner came back 2 days after the assessment and fixed our dryer. We are so pleased and we are happy to now have a repair team that we can count on. Thanks guys!

    Repair clothes dryer

    I called Home Stars on Monday for a 30 year old dryer that wouldn't heat. Rick came, took the dryer apart and after giving me an estimate of $450.00 to $500.00 to repair with the advisory that given the age of the dryer it might be better to buy a new one. He put the machine back together for me and charged me only for the service call. He didn't try to sell me a replacement machine and was realistic about repairing it.

    Dryer repair

    8 year old dryer started making awful, loud, noises when cycle began. Technician (Ravi) was prompt and polite. Showed up when he said he would. Took the dryer apart and figured out the problem quickly. Did a full cleanup of the inside of the dryer, oiled parts and even fixed the lint screen. Dryer runs perfectly again now. Would totally recommend for future work.
