fixed water damage
I used to work with him a long time ago and I knew of him and his work so I hired him when I had a leak from a kitchen sink. The leak went down to my rec. room through the walls and the ceiling and it stained my cupboards. I have an island in my kitchen and he put in a baseboard on the island that matched the rest of the house and he repaired the water damage downstairs as well. Thank goodness everything is fine now. He did such a good job that he made the place look better now than it was before!

various work
I found them through a contact at the plumbing store and they put a door in for me as well as a porch. The work was on time, and I'm very pleased with the service. They're very qualified and they've done an excellent job.

Skylight Framing & Window Framing
We hired Chris and Dexter from Remodel Construction to finish off our skylight and window installations. They constructed a tent around the skylight so that the mess and dust from the drywall, taping and framing were contained in one area. They laid drop sheets wherever they were walking in the house. Our house was clean when the job was finished. Remodel Construction did the job in a timely manner and the outcome was beautiful. We couldn't ask for anything better. Basement refinishing
Remodel Construction undertook a major revamp of our basement rec room approximately 15 years ago. [tired plywood paneling, no wall insulation] Very recently our next door neighbor sold their home to a contractor who specializes in doing major renovations to old tired homes, and then reselling them. I had him view our basement, since it's exactly the same shape and size as next door. The room is 40 x 15 feet. His first comment was "wow it's so warm down here !" [and this was during the daytime with the heat off]. As he looked around he said that Remodel had done a very good job. Drywall seams were excellent and accurate. The room is heavily insulated and keeps really warm in winter. The quality of the finish really means that we have two lovely floors of home. The cost was very reasonable and Remodel did a very good job of keeping things neat and tidy during their work. We are most grateful for all their work

Hello Micheal, wow has it been that long since we finished your basement? It's amazing how time goes by so fast. We are pleased to hear how much warmer your basement is now compared to before you renovated. Staying on top of the OBC (Ontario Building Code) was the main reason your basement feeling and being warmer. Putting tar paper on the outside walls to stop water penetrating the insulation from the foundation walls was the first step. Using the correct insulation in the walls was the next step and using the correct vapour barrier on the walls and around the plugs, including installing tuct tape to seal any seams is critical to creating the vapour barrier to keep the cold out. We are confident to say that by you insulating your basement properly has saved you quite a lot of money on your energy bills over the years. Powder room/ front/ sliding glass door
Our front door and three glass sliding doors have been upgraded and the installation resulted in a decrease of energy costs. Also the powder room on the main floor has been modernized and guests have given favourable comments on the transformation. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Bathroom reno
Remodel Construction Company were very professional and easy to work with. They kept me informed every step of the way and were accommodating to all my requests. They were quick, tidy and did great work. I would use Remodel Construction Company again and happily recommend them. Nicholas McMonagle.

New Roof Shingles
When my roof started leaking the first person I called was Chris from Remodel Construction Company. I was given a fair quote and was told that the job would be completed within the week. Well done Chris completed on time and no more leaks. Thanks Linda, Pickering

Brand new basement apartment
Approximately 25 years ago I hired Remodel Construction Company to build a brand new basement apartment in my new home. The job was built in a professional and timely mannor and the workmanship was of top quality. Twenty years later my basement is exactly the same. Same bathroom, same kitchen absolutely no maintenance except a coat of paint. Built to last. What an investment, People who rent my apartment tell me how bright and beautiful it is, even today. Attic Renovation
Remodel has been doing home improvements on our house in excess of ten years. The reason we keep with the same contractor is that from the initial meeting they listened carefully, provided a thorough and detailed description of the project, , outlined the phases, pricing and ways to minimize household disruption. The estimates we were given was exactly what we were charged. There were no hidden fees or surprises. We were given exact estimates with regard to the quantity of materials required and advice with regard to the best places to purchase them. We had time constraints regarding the project finish date and the Remodel Construction Home Improvement People made sure to start and finish the job well in advance. Chris is a true gentleman. The craftsmen were consummate professionals who took pride in every facet of the job, every detail , were precise and patient. Dedicated craftsman were assigned to the project from start to finish rather than hoping from client to client mid-way. The contractors were extremely professional and knowledgeable in a variety of fields. They arrived on time every day and they made sure that they cleaned up at the end of each day. They provided us with advice and options as needed to ensure that we would be more than satisfied with the finished product . They took the time to accompany us to the supplier when needed to purchase material. Remodel makes the journey a great experience from start to finish because they are personable and driven to achieve customer satisfaction. I really consider them family now. I would recommend them to anyone who doesn’t wish to play Russian roulette with contractors. They are dependable, reliable and true to their word. Remodel is accessible and willing to answer questions or work through any design issues in a timely fashion. They are reasonable, resourceful and are up- to date when it comes to construction technology.. They balance function with design. Interior Renovations
This company did a major reconstruction on the bedroom wing of my bungalow. There were two new bathrooms and two bedrooms involved in this project as well as a new bathroom built in the basement. The crew was professional and easy to work with; and cleaned up thoroughly before they left each day. Good thoughts and supervision by Chris. I subsequently had the laundry room and basement stairway updated by Remodel Construction........
