    Home Inspection

    This is our second house inspection with Geoff. He had recently come to do an inspection on our new house, he was very polite and extremely knowledgeable. Answered any and all the questions we had. Highly recommended!

    Home Inspection

    Incredibly grateful to have had Geoff from REI come and inspect our new build prior to taking possession. He was friendly, thorough, and did an excellent job of identifying issues that we certainly would have missed on our own. He also took the time to explain key systems to us as new home owners, which was greatly appreciated. I highly, highly recommend Geoff from REI.

    Home Inspection Excellence

    Geoff completed an extended and thorough inspection on an acreage for us. He was extremely pleasant and friendly to deal with, he is knowledgable and provides information to you in a way that anyone can understand. He does a great job and we would absolutely recommend him!

    Home Inspection

    Geoff is amazing. He was thorough and, as promised in other reviews, super knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all my questions and let me follow him around for the entire inspection, explaining what he was seeing as he went. I really appreciated the level of detail he provided and felt confident that we were getting all of the information we needed to make a good decision about buying a house. We will definitely use Geoff again and would highly recommend him.

    Missed holes on roof

    Geoff seems like he knows what he’s doing but 2 weeks after his inspection water starting leaking they the ceiling. Turns out there were crack in the roof that he did not catch. When we contacted him about it , he was less than helpful. Would not recommend him

    Good Evening, if this is the property that I think it is I remember it was a tar and gravel roof material and the roof was not new but looked alright when we inspected. Now with that being said there was some moisture staining in the master bedroom ceiling and when we used the thermal camera there was moisture in the ceiling, we did advise you to contact a roofing contractor to figure out where the leak was coming from and it was stated in the report that there was a leak and it should be evaluated by a roofing contractor. When you contacted me about the moisture and the leak I did offer to come back and have a look to see where the leak was coming from. I did suggest having a roofing contractor to come out and trouble shoot where the leak was coming and gave you a company to call to see if they could find out where and what sort of cost it would be to repair. If anyone that knows how I am, I stand behind my services and if I had made a mistake I would have owned up to it. But it stated in the report that there was moisture in the ceiling and it should be evaluated by a roofing contractor and serviced as needed. Not sure what I could have done differently. I am sorry that you do not think I did a good job and was less than helpful after the fact. Thanks Geoff Latham Owner/Building Inspector

    Home Inspection

    Inspector loves his job which is important as one does things from the heart . takes time to answer questions. Prices are fair. Very thorough report. walked me through how everything works and was open to questions even after the inspection.!!! Thank you Geoff!!

    Used Home Inspection

    Contacted Geoff with a recommendation from our realtor. He was inspecting a newer used home we had put an offer in and I arrived towards the end to get an overview on his findings. He was very friendly and told or showed me the few issues he had encountered and the methods needed to repair. Put together a good inspection report and We will take a couple issues back to the seller for repair. Overall a great easy experience. Thank You!!

    Home Inspection

    We recently had Geoff do an inspection on an older midcentury home we were in the process of purchasing. He was very professional, thorough and took his time with us. He checked out the entire home and garage and gave his honest opinion on any potential problems or actual issues that the house had. If you want a honest and proficient inspection, we highly recommend Geoff!

    roof inspection

    My insurance required a roof inspection When i tried to get an inspection done by 6 different roofers over a month with no response from any of them . I found homestars rei inspections answered my call and had done the inspection as soon i needed. He was prompt and very knowlagable in his work wish i had found him sooner. excellent iob Goeff Thank you very much.

    Home Inspection

    This is the second home we have purchased, and the second time we have had Geoff do our home inspection. He is incredibly thorough, and happily answered my call after the inspection to answer some further questions I had. We only had about 24 hours to get our inspection done, and he fit us in on a Saturday. Besides being a great home inspector, he’s genuinely a nice guy - we would definitely use him a third time if we buy another house!
