Fantastic service. Ilir was easy to reach and flexible in terms of availability to get the job done. Replaced our broken roof vents in between snow and ice storms, so that we didn’t accrue any more snow in our attic. Professional and responsive. Would recommend and hire again!

I would highly recommend The Roof Technician for anyone looking for someone to replace their flat roof. They did such a great job that I wanted to take the time and write this review. Turned out to be closer to 600 sq ft with the skylight areas. Llir and the team did an absolutely great job! They were friendly, clean, worked quickly and professional. They clearly have been doing this for a while. The price was also fair and priced well relative to other quotes. My father used to do commercial flat roofs and I sent him pictures along the way and he said they were doing a good job. They even installed a drain to help with the pooling water. Overall I couldn’t be happier and glad we listened to Llir’s recommendation to go with the light gray instead of the black. Great job and thank you!

Ilir was responsive, prompt and super careful removing snow from our shingled roof. I would hire him again for any roof issues.

Did a great job installing the skylight, although the finishing of the caulking wasn't great. At the time I asked "could you smooth it out?" and they said no. Turns out a year later the caulking is cracked up the whole one side of the skylight. When I contacted them to have them come back and fix it I was told that "they don't guarantee any work inside, only outside". The skylight is guaranteed for five years, but they don't guarantee or follow up on any interior problems. Nice guy but when you don't follow up on problems, no one will refer you.

Ilir and his team are amazing! From my first meeting for a quote replacing my old skylights, I felt confident choosing The Roof Technician. Ilir was professional and courteous. He arrived at the time arranged, sent a reasonable quote quickly, and explained everything in detail. He and his team did the instalment soon after. We needed a new roof and skylight on a commercial /residential building in downtown Toronto. I found Ilir to be professional from the start. He provided a quote and gave me an approx. time to start. I asked for some further details and he was so nice and easily provided me with those details so that I was comfortable to use his company. During the installation he sent me pictures / videos as they were doing the job and everything went as I was told. Ilir is straight forward and honest and has a great team of workers. This is the second time I am using the roof technician, Ilir and his team are very easy to deal with, extremely prompt, knowlegdeable and curteous. The price is also very reasonable. They made sure everything is cleaned up before they left and showed pictures of the work from the roof. Very satisfied and highly recommend.

This job was completed in October, 2019. I meant to post the review (written then) but forgot. I was reminded of this omission when he completed another job, recently, on our rental property and we received the same, excellent level of service. Ilir is an excellent communicator and incredibly professional. He helped us out immeasurably by organizing the job directly with the fellow removing our solar panels. He removed the old shingles, replaced some boards that were rotten and provided photos, re-shingled the roof, and followed up with us about one month after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied. He also issued a Workmanship Warranty, good for 10 years, and took photos of the job, before, during, and after the work was completed. He was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Ilir, The Roof Technician.

What can I say about Ilir? Nothing but good things. I bought a renovated house and the home inspection had noted some loose flashing on the roof. Ilir came by and told me the roof itself was done extremely poorly and the shingles and flat roof would need to be replaced. I had a few other opinions and the consensus was the same. Ilir offered the most reasonable quote and he was prompt in his timing. I finished the job over 2 seasons and I have confidence that I wont run into a leak or any major problems. I appreciate his transparency and not upcharging me for things that werent necessary to be completed.
