Toilet, Kitchen Faucet and water leak

Cody of CJL Plumbing has fixed three of my plumbing problems now. He is punctual, professional and takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. With the leak, Cody suggested the least expensive option to see if it worked first before we opened up the ceiling drywall. He fixed the problem the first time, saving me from extra stress and costs. Cody will be my go to plumber in the future and he receives my highest recommendation.

    Answer from pro:

Installation of Kitchen Sink faucet, Garb-orator, and dishwasher

Cody came to my house on time and well prepared. He was very polite and conducted the work in not only a timely matter but very professionally. Once done, Cody cleaned up all the extra parts unneeded and boxed them up for me; keeping my house clean and tidy. He showed me how everything worked and asked if I had any questions - which I didn't after he showed me his work. I highly recommend this friendly and reliable guy! I will definitely use him again when I get around to renovating my bathroom.

    bathroom renovation

Its my second time having to call cjl to help me out with renovations. The previous owners had ran illegal underground drainage that was not even glued together, i was starting to get mold in my basement. Cody came over and replaced all the plumbing and did a a great job and now the mold is gone from my basement. Your underground plumbing is one of the most critical parts of your home, an incorrect installation can leave water running underneath your home compromising your foundation. Please do yourself self a favor and have CJL take care of your plumbing, no one wants to come home to a flooded home or ruined foundation, mold, sewer gas etc...thanks Cody i owe you one!

    Answer from pro:

If anything looks suspect when you purchase a new house it's always good to get someone to take a look at it before you use it or build on it. You never know what some homeowner did to try and save a few bucks it may cost you a whole lot more then they saved if something happened. I was very suprised to find that bathroom like it was but smart of you to be suspect. Thank you for your repeat business.

    Repaired a Leaking Pipe

Came to the rescue quickly! Cody is a super friendly guy, who clearly knows what he is doing. He did a great job in a timely manner. Thank you Cody!

    Answer from pro:

Thanks I always try to get to the job at earliest convince sometimes easier said than done. Always watch when you turn your outside faucet on for the first time in spring to make sure it made it through the winter.

    Water tank replacement

My hot water tank broke Saturday evening, Oct 11. Sunday morning I called a few plumbing companies and the only one that answered was CJL. Cody accepted to come and look at the tank. I can not tell how impressed I was with his whole performance. Having dealt with other companies in the past for furnaces, air conditioning, etc. I was expecting to have to go through all kinds of hassles, dishonest assessments, unreasonable estimates, etc. My only hope was to get someone to bypass the broken tank so that I could use the second one until I could get a new one, given that it was the Thanksgiving weekend. To my surprise, Cody showed up in less than an hour, made a quick assessment and offered to replace the tank the same day for a very, very reasonable price and executed the work in only 3 hours or so. He was very professional, kept everything very clean and also helped me take out some old water softener from the basement. I could not believe that there are contractors like him in Calgary. I will reach for his help with any other problems with plumbing and heating in the future. Thank you, Cody!

    Toilet Plugged

Cody was great. Something got flushed down our toilet and Cody came out to unclog the toilet. Unfortunately, the object was lodged in the toilet and a month later, it clogged again. Cody came out, tried to get the object out from the top and bottom of the toilet. Unfortunately, it was not possible to remove the object so the toilet needed to be replaced. Cody was very helpful in choosing the right replacement toilet, getting us a good price on the toilet and gave us a fair price for our service. He was also friendly to work with and accommodating. Highly recommend!

    Answer from pro:

It's rough when you have to replace your toilet because it is plugged it's rare but does happen. Toto was a great choice as In my experience they are the best bang for your buck and rarely ever have problems that cannot be fixed. Thanks for your business

    Adding a PRV

Thanks Cody for the job well done! The water pressure in my house is very high, Cody comes in evening to install a pressure reduce valve for us, he is a very nice guy and the job is done in a prompt professional way, the price is very fair as well. After the work done, he also double checked everything works well. I won't be hesitate to ask Cody for any other stuffs for next time, and recommend to others for Cody's work. George

    Answer from pro:

Too high of pressure in houses can cause extreme wearing damage on your pipes and seals it's a very good idea to get a PRV if your pressure is over 80 psi. Very smart choice , pleasure working for you. Thanks for your business
