    Bathroom electrical upgrade

    Davin from 24/7 Electric was quick, efficient and knowledgeable when it came to moving switches in our old bathroom to fit our new design. We had removed the drywall, so he was in and out in an hour and did the job for half our budgeted cost. His immediate assessment and knowledge made me feel very confident about his work.

    Blown electrical outlet

    Thanks to Davin and 24/7 electric power was restored to my house very quickly after a blown outlet caused part of it to lose power. Davin turned this annoyance into a pleasurable experience with his great attitude and efficient work. I will be going to this company for all my future electrical needs. Thank you.

    OTR microwave

    Davin the electrician did a fantastic job installing my over the range microwave, he was timely, professional and did a great job. price was affordable, and job was done quickly, I would highly recommend

    Minor electrical fixes

    Great experience from start to finish. Professional, friendly phone service booking the appointment...a morning-before reminder call...and Davin the electrician showing up right on time with a professional, clean look and a smile. Job was done quickly and well, and he took the time to explain a few other things. Overall an excellent experience--quality service indeed!

    Finish off previous electrician's work

    After several attempts to get somebody out to finish off some electrical work and arrange a final inspection, we got Rockwood [now called 24/7 Electric] out to do the work. Fast, professional, friendly. I contacted 5 other companies and didn't get calls back from 3 of those, but Rockwood responded within 24 hours and had somebody out to my house and working in a week. Electrical inspection passed on the first try. Worth every penny.

    Addition of pot lights, run new electrical line

    Customer service though the roof with these guys! I had them come in to install a new line from my panel to my living room, as well as add some potlights. The building is concrete, so this required some tricky weaving and fishing through the walls to get there, but Davin and Dale got it done, and while they were in they fixed a scorched outlet and checked out a few other small things around the home free of charge! Now, where it gets truly amazing is that I'd made a mistake with my condo board by not having all electrical fully approved (my fault, not 24/7 Electric). Shane came out, free of charge, double checked everthing (and fixed one problem he saw even though it was not a code violation), and helped me even get a city inspector sign off to please my Condo Board. This is all so far way and above the call of duty, even for a bit of an uncomfortable situation, I cannot say enough good things about this company. Very timely and kept my place clean when drywall cuts were necessary to boot!

    Emergency call

    An arborist tree remover took out the mains to our house when removing a large spruce. Shane from 24/7 took the call from the arborist and we're glad he did. Shane did excellent work above and beyond what I would have expected including replacing the wire right to the panel. He took his time and was obviously experienced. Very friendly too. And warranty is great.

    Misc. electrical work

    Dale and another electrician (sorry can't remember name!) came within a couple of days of calling. They were both very nice guys and respectful of my home. Dale gave me a quote prior to starting the work so there were no surprises. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again in the future.

    Rough in electrical

    The service I had from Rockwood was great. I called and they had a technician over the next day. He helped me to make some better decisions about the lighting I needed and gave me a very reasonable quote for the job. I would not hesitate to call them again.

    Troubleshooting Dimming Lights

    We moved into a newly renovated home and we found that all the lights in our house were dimming every time any appliance turned on in the house. We had three electricians (Great Dane, All Source and Rockwood Electric) visit our house and Shane from Rockwood Electric was the only person who was able to diagnose and help with the solution. Shane charged me his flat service rate despite spending over 4 hours at my house helping to diagnose the problem. I would have gladly paid him hourly given the quality of service which also came with a full money back guarantee if he wasn't able to solve the problem. The problem turned out to be on Enmax's end (Shane contacted Enmax on my behalf). Having a master electrician call Enmax on your behalf gets you a whole other level of service. Enmax is now working to fix the problem which is taking time and at this point I wouldn't expect anymore help from Shane. However, three weeks after he helped me out he followed up to let me know he has continued to work with Enmax to move my case along and that I am now in the queue for having the problem solved. Shane went above and beyond the call of duty for me. I would highly recommend Rockwood Electric for any of your electric needs especially if you have a tough troubleshooting problem and need someone who will work really hard to solve the issue.
