    Absolutely terrible customer service

    I contacted Simply Green on three occasions and got a total runaround from everybody. I’m still waiting for information I needed. I needed to know what the buyout on a hot water tank was as I was selling my property. Each time I called it took them at least 15 to 20 minutes to even find my account and the service was terrible. I still haven’t received my bio quote and my property is closing without critical information from the utility.

    Hot Water Tank Rental

    The service representatives I speak with are always great - especially the one I spoke with today - so no issues there. My biggest complaint or issue would be that I cannot pay my bill through online banking like EVERY OTHER BILL I RECEIVE. I am with RBC and HCSI is not a Payee with RBC. PLEASE CHANGE THIS AND JOIN THE REST OF THE WORLD WITH REGARDS TO TECHNOLOGY.

    Billing

    I had a billing issue and called Simply Green. Spoke with Sam, she was super helpful and resolved my issue on the spot. Thanks, Sam. Keep up the good work.

    Repair water tank

    I was satisfied with the work that they have done. It was impressive that they have tried to contact until get hold of me. The workers were pleasant and efficient.

    Provide furnace

    Sene ad, call # , Spoke with a great representative and made a deal on a furnace. The representative was very knowledgeable about the product and explained the process well.

    Hot water boiler

    Its quite expensive to pay $53 just for a hot water tank. It used to be b/w 20-30 $ but not anymore. Thats how its setup now a days for new homes. No other choice but have to take it.

    Deceptive Sales Tactics

    Simply Green is banned from door-to-door sales in B.C. because of their deceptive business practices. Ontario banned all door-to-door sales in 2018 because of companies like Simply Green. Unfortunately, I signed a contract with their door-to-door salesmen 5 years ago, before the ban took effect. Upon signing the lease-to-own contract, the salesmen conveniently failed to mention the following to us: 1. They failed to mention the overall price of the equipment is (which turns out to be multiple times the market value). You can buy the equipment from Home Depot up front with your credit card and end up paying a lot less than financing with this company. 2. They failed to mention how much interest will be charged over the years and the fact that there would be yearly increases in payments. 3. They specifically informed us that the contract is "lease-to-own", so we can buy out the remainder of the contract any time, but they didn't tell us that the cost of the buy-out is more than the cost of the equipment. 4. They didn't tell us that we'll be on the hook with 2 different financial institutions that are loosely connected to Simply Green. 5. One of the three pieces of equipment had no contract, but the financial company is withdrawing monthly payments without billing us nor showing any accounting of how much we've paid so far. 6. They are known to exploit the government rebate/environmental incentives in their sales tactics, as mentioned in the BC Consumer Protection report. They promised us a government rebate; we received none.

    Water heater

    Water heater repairing, replacing one part waiting for almost one week. 5 days can not use hot water. It costed a few days than expected. Next time hope to reduce the waiting days.

    AC Service
