Request was to move a dryer from point A to point B: NOTE: Before I continue, I recommend if you are reading this-read all the poor comments and look at the tone and theme of the "customer service" responses. Never their fault and always an excuse. -During the discussion of the quote, it was not mentioned that the electrical needed to be moved as this COULD NOT be completed by the contractor. My assumption was that all work to move the dryer would be completed. -I will take accountability for not considering or asking that direct question; however, not being an appliance or electrical expert (hence my call to this company) I would think that would be called out as a step in the process? -After several other issues with this job, over the course of a 2 week delay, I find out half way through "moving" the appliance that electrical is not part of it. -The only person who can help me, again only one in the entire company is Denis the "head" of customer service. I called him for the 3rd time that day to deal with this issue and I was angry and frustrated. Instead of taking a customer service approach to acknowledge the issue and provide an apology, he continued to talk over me, giving excuses while defending they were not electricians. He refused to listen to the point I was making about educating me on what they can and cannot do during the process. (which I would have made arrangements for…) -He then told me to calm down and to call back when I was in a better mood. He then HUNG UP ON ME. Side note: they never sent an electronic quote as indicated they would and when asked for it today, they only sent the final invoice with a conveniently added note about electrical-After I was told specifically that this was not on the notes on the work order. Fridge was powered off, Mike P checked the fuse, fuse was working and power-cycled the fridge and was and has been working well since he did that. Friendly and listened to the issues well. Fixed problem quickly!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

I had Chris of RepairCare come to service a dishwasher after two visits by Appliance Repair Guys couldn't fix the problem. One thing that made the service stand out is where Chris called head office and was patched into a three-way call with the LG service centre. Something Appliance Repair Guys didn't do. From there Chris was able to find out that a part was recalled by LG and find out that was the part creating the issue.Answer from pro:

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM REPAIR CARE! Incredible that this company is still in business with such poor service! Unfortunate for me, I was desperate to have my washer repaired. They removed a small rag from my washer. This was the reason it did not drain. The serviceman, talked me into having my machine serviced....said it was a good idea. 'My machine was in great shape so why not keep it that way'. Sounded like a good idea to me. So 10 minutes and $300.00 later, the job was done. 2 weeks later washer is not draining again. Called Repair Care and left several messages to see if they would honour their maintenance service for free since it obviously was something the service man, did or forgot to do that caused this. After 3 days, they returned my call...offered nothing....no help, no wave of any service cost whatsoever....so I asked to speak to the Manager, Dennis. 3 more days later....he finally returns my call saying they can do nothing for us as they have no control as to what we do to our machines that may have caused this. The other appliance people I called, fixed the Repair CAre Service mans error. CAUTION: STAY AWAY FROM REPAIR CARE!!Answer from pro:
We understand your concerns but as we said we really don't have any control over people clogging their machines up after we unclogged it 2 weeks ago, we do not know what people put in their machines. No repair company gives a warranty on a clogged drain they unclogged. It worked for 2 weeks so the repair was a good repair. I suggest you be more careful in the future as to what you put into your washer. Thanks for your feedback.

The dishwasher leaked and needed a repair as soon as possible. Ottawa Pro Appliance was able to send a professional and knowledgable repair technician within 2 days. He was very pleasant and tidy and clearly knowledgeable. I was very pleased with the outcome.Answer from pro:
