They take the time to understand your needs, specify the right systems for your home's requirements and your budget, give you a firm quote, answer all your questions, and meet their commitments on timing. And their follow-up service is superb. I cannot give them a higher recommendation.

I first hired Hargrave to do a complete new install of a furnace and water heater including new duct work. Working with hargrave was an absolute relief. Pricing was upfront and honest(beat my other two quotes) and done according to the projected time line. Every staff member was polite, clean and courteous. The guys had no trouble answering any of my questions and made some helpful recommendations. We have hired them multiple times since and have recommended them to family (the true test!). It's nice to work with honest tradesmen. They give a quote, do the work agreed upon and you pay them. That's how it's supposed to work, though we all have stories where that was not the case. They carry top of the line products that all the biggest companies have but are still small enough to care about each customer they service. I'd recommend them to anyone. Don't forget to ask about any rebates, although I'm sure they will mention them first.

We had our water heater system break down in the middle of the night so we call our friends and they recommended Hargrave Heating . We called the 24/7 after hours emergency line and was quite surprised to get a live voice they made arrangements to come out . We ended purchasing a tankless water heater and furnace built in one ( amazing ) the work was done quickly and efficiently ! Thanks guys for a job well done

Professional work crew installed the equipment (furnace, A/C, and water heater) as if these were being installed in their own homes. The work area was also cleaned very well.

Just had a New Carrier system installed . The sales team was so good with the process it made it easy for us to choose ! Installation crew was also top notch! They left our place cleaner then when they first started ! Great job

First day of extreme heat… my AC that was less than 10 years old kicked the bucket (very disappointing) Having a toddler and a newborn in the house I started to panic when it got warmer in the house than it did outside. I had seen a Hargrave Heating & Air Conditioning truck out on the road and decided to call them. Luckily, they have 24/7 emergency service available and I had someone at my house within 2 hours. The very knowledgeable technician gave me the unfortunate news that the AC that was installed was too small for the square footage of my home which is why it broke. He told me that he can fix it, but that the same problem would keep on happening due to the wrong size and would only end up costing us more in the long run. Feeling very taken advantage of from the original installation company, I had no choice but to replace my AC. Hargrave was very understanding and made this their top priority and within 48 hours of my initial phone call to them, I had a brand new AC installed. I am extremely satisfied with the service and work that these guys provide. Since, I have had them do yearly maintenance on my furnace, AC and tankless water heater to ensure I have a worry free home. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone who needs service or new installations done.

I had Tim install 2 complete furnace and air conditioning systems in 2 homes. His service is excellent, he and his crew were always there when they were supposed to be, friendly people, very efficient and very competitive from a cost standpoint. I read the two previous posts and unfortunately cannot share the same positive feedback. Our experience with HH was less than stellar. We purchased an 18 month old home which included an AC unit supplied and installed by HH. We moved into the home in Sept 2011. IN late August 2012, the AC stopped working. I called the former owner who informed me that they had purchased the AC from HH. I proceded to contact Tim who suggested I wait until the spring to repair which we agreed to do. Long story short, no warranty, blamed the former owner's children for damaging valves (that happen to be in a PVC enclosure!). Charged me for the supplies and labour and two days later, the unit was showing the same problems which occurred the previous year. We contacted Tim again and he said you probably need a coil which is probably what caused the problem in the 1st place (his words which I have in writing). He did tell me during the 1st visit that he would look after us if things failed. Right....the coil is under warranty but he wants another $350 for the installation. We refuse to pay twice for work that should have been done the 1st time. He has suggested that we look for another contractor which we will gladly do. Not a great experience. Advice : please insure that you get everything in writing when dealing with this company.

We were left with out heat over the weekend and thought we would be stuck till the monday . We callled many other outfits but no one was available.Our friends put us on to Hargrave and with in 20 minutes had a service tech out to fix the problem! Hargrave service techs are polite clean and fast ! Thanks Hargrave
