    Furnace

    All was great with the furnace handled quickly - there are not 15 words to describe he was on time and friendly

    Replacement Air Conditioner

    Firstly, the sales representative arrived exactly on time as arranged. Pavle was knowledgeable, efficient, professional and empowered to conclude a successful closing. The installation crew (Scott & Andrew) arrived on the pre-arranged day & time and completed the removal, installation and testing of the new unit. They covered the walking areas with protective mats, donned shoe coverings and immediately commenced work. Within about 4hrs, the job was complete, all traces of the old equipment removed and the work areas cleaned up and as presentable as it was before they started. They covered the operation of the equipment with us and answered any questions or concerns. Their work was neat and efficient. We have used Summers & Smith for the past few years and they have always provided us with prompt and efficient service. Well Done!!! Fred (Aurora)

    Furnace and air conditioner

    The install was done to my satisfaction. So far the air conditioner is working fine. Still a few months until we use the furnace so no comment on that yet.

    New air conditioning

    My central air conditioner broke down it was old and needed to be replaced. I contacted Summers and Smith they gave me a reasonable price and did an excellent job they even corrected some wiring mistakes some other piping issues without additional charges I was very pleased with their service

    Annual Furnace and Air Conditioner check

    We have used Summers and Smith for many years and have always been satisfied with their service. Their technicians are efficient, polite and friendly. Would have no hesitation in recommending them.

    HVAC maintenance service.

    I have had Summers & Smith service my furnace and air conditioner units for the past ten years. I’m very pleased with the service and level of professionalism I receive from them.

    Air conditioner and furnace yearly service

    We always use Summers and Smith for our yearly service of the AC and furnace. We have been using them for about 10 years and they give great service. I recommend Summers and Smith to anyone who is looking for very reliable and knowledgeable company.

    Quick, efficient and very reasonable

    I was having trouble with my gaz fireplace. Summers & Smith were very easy to engage with, provided a quick appointment and completely explained what I could expect. The service technician, Brian, arrived well within the agreed time interval, listened to my description of the problem and was able to quickly identify the possible causes. He then made the required measurements to confirm his initial thoughts and explained the ways in which is could be resolved. He explained my options and clearly explained the pros and cons of each approach. I felt under no pressure whatsoever when he went on to explain potential improvements to the functionality of the fireplace. We will most likely be going ahead with his suggestion. I will definitely recommend Summers & Smith to my friends.

    Furnace break down

    I had a no heat call on the weekend of New Year's eve. The tech told me it was $180 for the service call it is quite a large fee but needed the service. I had a friend who is in the business already diagnosis the problem and had removed the defective parts. The tech arrived and was told needed a new board which are $250 plus a igniter a $40 part. He did not advise me of any charges installed them with the help of a friend. Once done he had charged $750 for a board and $180 for a igniter oh ya plus the $180. Which should of been waived. This company is dishonest and should carry guns because they will rob u blind. Consumer beware they are not looking for your best interest but there own.

    Gas fireplace repair

    Friendly technician assessed at a charge of $134.00 (was in home 15 minutes) and said my pilot assembly was rusted and needed to be repaired for an extra $400.00 (total $534.00). The Pilot Assembly piece would have cost $110.00. Company were aware that I am on a disability pension and needed help in keeping costs down. I asked for a break on the labour cost and they wouldn't budge. Instead they were trying to up-sell me on something I didn't need. I later asked a friend (who was visiting from out of town and has experience working with gas fireplaces) look at the assembly and he cleaned it with a wire brush (took him 15-20 minutes; he advised it is something the technician could have done on initial visit. I called Summers & Smith and asked that a partial refund be given and secretary was rude---said that cost of initial visit was $134.00 (includes tax). When I asked for a technician to come out, I was assured that if they could fix it on the spot, the cost would have been inclusive of labour but if parts needed to be replaced, I would have to pay for them. Secretary said she would speak with manager and I never received a return call. This kind of treatment, inaccurate assessment has very little care or concern for a disabled person leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. Would never recommend them --especially if you are a single women or someone vulnerable and unable to verify if assessment is truthful. I think they thought they could pull the wool over my eyes and they almost did. I gave one star because the service call was a quick response to my concern....albeit it, unprofessional.
