Carpet Installation
Gary was highly recommended and did not disappoint. A very professional approach from beginning to end. His suggestion on product and color match was perfect and the work was completed according to schedule and exactly as promised. I would refer him to anyone that wants a job done right!!

Laminate flooring
Dealing with Gary was a great experience. He knew his stock and knew how to find what I wanted. If he didn't have it, he would find it and he did. He carries good quality products and the best part is HE COMES TO YOU with the samples. You can't get much better than that. Gary is prompt in replying back, professional and pleasant.

Being a project manager for a restoration company Im usually involved in most jobs. However one particular job up in Nobleton that i wasnt involved with until became a nightmare scenario that should have been a simple tare out and replace. I was brought into this project after a flooring crew messed up the install in the basement at this particular job TWICE!!!! .....TWICE!!!! we had to bring in a flooring inspector to review the work of the previous crew, nobody was happy with their work i had my back against the wall, my company is out of pocket 2 entire floors and the customer is fuming. I called Gary from Direct flooring deals and they completly turned things around. They came with lasers and plotted graphs on the floor to find dips and high spots on the concrete slab not previously addressed by the other installer. They also installed a Plywood sub floor to perfection after levelling out the slab the install was flawless. The customer was super happy, I was relieved and we closed off that project from that to finish in less then a week, Direct Flooring Deals saved the day and for the same price as the previous install companie who did half the work as Direct Flooring. Direct Flooring is on my speed dial these days. Thanks Gary and Direct Flooring Deals you Hit a Grand Slam.

Four bedrooms, hallway, and two flights of stairs
We needed new carpeting for our entire upper floor, including two flights of stairs, so we called Gary on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. The kind of personal service he offers is hard to find. After listening to our needs, Gary came over with several carpet samples, however none of them were exactly what we were looking for. So Gary happily came back at least two more times with many more samples until we were satisfied with the colour, quality and cost. He was amazing. Installation was completed on time and in one day. The installers worked a very hard, long day and were professional, friendly and tidy. We are completely thrilled with our new carpet and have already recommended Gary to several of our neighbours and friends.

Kitchen and Bathroom floors
I have been dealing with livingston Carpet for at least 30 years and my mother has used them for much longer. They always come to the house within 24 hours and are very prompt with a quote. I have never had to wait more then week for installation which is amazing. Gary always answers my questions and his installers are always friendly and most importantly clean. I have now completed 2 levels of my home with amazing hardwood and tile floors and will be using them again soon to put new carpets in the bedrooms. I would and do recommend them to all my friends and family.

Expertise, convenience, quality and appropriate pricing
When I purchase anything, I look for: expertise, convenience, quality and appropriate pricing: I found all of this with Gary Ankenmann and Direct Flooring Deals. When Direct Flooring moved to being an on-line business I was concerned about not having the opportunity to see up close what I was buying before I bought it. I was thrilled when I learned that they would come to my house with samples, as well as take the time to look at what my needs were and make recommendations. Much better than running back and forth from home to store and taking samples with me. I have used Direct Flooring for the purchase and installation of: laminate, tile and carpets. Recently they customized area carpets that are perfect, at what I felt was a very reasonable price. If you look for expertise, convenience, quality and price when you purchase flooring, whether you are the owner or contractor, I strongly recommend that you contact Direct.Dave

Three bedrooms, hallway upstairs, stairs (upstairs and to the basement), and full rec room in basement.
Gary was recommended to me as I saw his carpet in a neighborhood open house. I contacted him and he was over very quickly to leave me some samples and a quote. He was very helpful and answered all my questions, both by phone and email. On the day of installation his team worked for a very long day. I cannot express how hard they worked and how beautiful the carpet looks. They were professional and friendly. I have already recommended Gary and his services to people I know that are looking to refresh their homes. Although I was installing the carpets with the thought of listing my house, I am glad I did it and will be able to enjoy it myself before my house actually goes to market. Bedroom, hallway and stairs carpet
We needed to refresh or replace our carpet up the stairs, hallway and bedroom. We were recommended to contact Gary Ankenmann. If ever there was a Contractor that was both Professional and friendly Gary is all that and more. After a few questions on the phone before hand, we met and he came with carpet samples, knowledge and ideas. Gary is up to date with the Carpet colours trending and what would work with our lifestyle and decor. He knew exactly what we were looking for and more. Day of installation his Installer Raheel was very quiet, respectable, kind and ever so efficient. Our house was total chaos as we were in the process to put the house on the market. It didn't bother the Raheel one bit. When done, the carpet looked amazing. Not a connecting line showing, smooth and comfortable. 5 minutes after Raheel left, he came back... He said he wanted to double check the seam along the railings to be sure he had trimmed all the threads... He had trimmed them so no need for him to come back, but he did. That is someone who is proud of his work and the company he works for. Gary was there in no time to inspect the installation and to be sure we were happy with the quality, time frame, workmanship and price. We are so happy and more than honoured to recommend Gary Ankenmann and his staff for your next flooring project. You won't be disappointed at all. Thankyou Gary . Carpeting of staircase
We had Gary out to have a look at our home and provide some recommendations on colour/style of carpet he felt best fit our staircase. After selecting our choice of carpet his team installed the carpet in less than a day and we are very happy with the work they did. Would recommend them to anyone looking for great quality and service in this area.
