Eugen from Max Appliances arrived exactly on time. From very beginning he knew what exactly is a source of malfunction. However cost of repair was out of my logic and I purchased new fridge instead, but knowledge of technician was impressive indeed.

Disappointed with service/repair call. Our front loading washing machine would not spin. Called Max Appliance repair based upon reviews from Home Stars. Called on a Sunday and the service tech came the next day close to 7pm. They charge $80 for coming out and if you do repairs, then they put that toward you bill. Our machine is 10 years old and he looked at it and said that it was nearing the end of it's life as a lot of stuff was starting to go on it. The service man said that he could try to get it spinning again but it would cost $200 to do it. He did say that there were no Guarantees that it would work. I told him to go ahead then if he thought he could get it working at least for the short term. He worked on it for about an 1 hour and a half to 2 hours and told me that he got it spinning again but no guarantees. I asked him what he had done to get it working and I did not get a clear answer on how he repaired it or what he had done to get it spinning again. We tried to do a load (not even a full load) and it worked for maybe the first half of the wash and then it went back to not working again. I feel like the call was a waste of time and money. I would think twice about trying to repair and older machine again in the future as I could have put that $200 towards the cost of a new machine instead of a service call that didn't even extend the life of my washer even one more load... All I can say is that I was disappointed. I think would have appreciated it more if the tech had told me that the tech had told me that the machine could not be repaired and saved my $232.

My dishwasher was leaking. Kuzhil was very friendly. Diagnosed, explained and fixed it. Very professional and an expert. Would reccommend to anyone. Friday night he came at 6. Great job.

J'ai appelé vendredi soir vers 18h. Evgen est arrivé promptement à 19 h 40. Il m'a envoyé 2 courriels entretemps pour m'indiquer qu'il était en route. Après vérification il m'a indiqué qu'il s'agissait d'un problème de remplacement du compresseur. J'ai décidé à la suite de ses explications de remplacer mon frigo plutôt que de procéder à des réparations coûteuses qui ne pouvaient pas être garanties. Très satisfaite du service.

Evgen was a life-saver; came to the house on short notice and did his best to get us out of a bind - a dead washer and company coming! Unfortunately he was scuppered by a company that does not keep parts very long and so we were unable to fix it but he was extremely helpful and went out of his way to try different things to get us up and running for the short-term. He also helped us make a good decision on a new machine with his vast knowledge of the industry. Thanks again Evgen!

The tech showed up on time and solved the loud noise problem that my refrigerator was having. He was very polite and professional and knew what he was doing. The problem turned out to relatively minor and he didn't try to sell me a part that I did not need. I am very impressed with this company's service and would strongly recommend them for appliance repair.It's refreshing to find service people that are honest and fair.

Max Appliance Repair is very professional. They sent Eugene Kuzhil to diagnose the problem less than 3 hours after I called them. Eugene was extremely professional, friendly and pleasant to deal with. The price was also reasonable. I recommend Max Appliance Repair and Eugene. They are the best.
