Great work well executed and final product was breathtaking

I came across Brick Aid Masonry and was impressed with their stellar reviews. I needed some mortar repairs done urgently due to a large leak. Phong was incredibly responsive and came to quote us immediately. We also had some overdue parging repairs that needed to be done as well. Phong was able to do all of it. The work is exceptional and he gave us a very fair price, especially for the quality of work. Phong also spotted some other areas that needed repair and was able to take care of that on the same day. I knew I was getting someone with a good reputation, but we were even more impressed with Phong and the great work that he and his team did. I will definitely hire them again next time we need anything done and would absolutely recommend him!!

We requested quotes from 3 contractors and we felt most comfortable with Phong and BAM’s open and honest opinion on how he would go about repairing my Dad’s backyard porch. Phong did not try to upsell the job nor recommend anything we didn’t need to fix or do. Phong and his team (Van and Dion) worked diligently and were very detailed in their workmanship to ensure a lasting quality job. We were very pleased with the overall end results and when we mentioned about a couple of minor issues Phong took care of them without hesitation. We definitely would recommend BAM to anyone requiring any sort of masonry work or repair. You can trust that Phong will provide you with a honest and fair evaluation, competitive quote, and knowing he will work very hard to ensure the job is done right the first time. We will definitely be calling BAM back again as we have some chimney repair work to be done.

I asked Phong to clean up and repair bricks that were about 130 years old. The point tucking and the cleaning made my house look like a NYC brownstone. I highly recommend Phong and his team.

The flagstones on our front steps were starting to come apart, the result of more than a dozen years of winter freezing and thawing, to the point where one of the stones could tip off while someone was going up or down the steps. On a mid-winter day, as a temporary measure, Phong at Brick Aid Masonry cemented in the loose stones with a promise to return in the spring to provide a more appropriate solution. A quote for the future work was provided but there was no charge for the preliminary fix. More and more of the flagstones came loose as the winter progressed. As a result, we accepted his recommendation that the steps be replaced with solid stone slabs. We are extremely satisfied with the result. Phong, Lionel and Van took great care to minimize the necessary disruption and mess that stone cutting generates. They worked long hours to get the work done without much inconvenience. They are clearly reliable and dependable professionals in the business.

BMA was professional, honest and very good quality workmanship and would not hesitate to hire them again.

The repointing of a major 3 story Wall of our Victorian went as smooth as the wet Spring Weather permitted. Brickaid communicated early and consistently when weather was going to prevent their appearance on those rainy days. This is important to us as it freed up our schedule for those days. Scaffolding, workmanship and cleanup were excellent. We will rehire for additional work in the future.
