We filled in an old milk/mail box at the side of our house. Phong did a good job trying to match the colours of the vintage 1950's bricks. He removed some old bricks to stagger the new ones into the wall and didn't just put new bricks in the hole, for a more natural look. He also reparged a few old vent holes from previous laundry and furnace renos. I highly recommend.

My experience with Brick Aid Masonry has been excellent. Phong was very prompt to respond. Within weeks scheduled me for Tuck Pointing bricks around my garage. It was indeed a pleasure to deal with Phong. He demonstrated excellent workmanship and i would have no hesitation in recommending him. Would certainly use his services in future when needed.

We were very surprised by how well Phong's team can replace old bricks near the bottom of our over-100-year-old home. The job was done over an entire Saturday. The brick masons, Mike and Teo arrived on time and work diligently. We have a painted brickwall so they painted the new bricks as well as touching up on some peeled paint. They returned on the following Monday to complete the silicone seal after the paint has dried. Everyone I have dealt with at this company is very communicative and courteous. I would ask them for any future Brick Aid!

Our experience with Brick Aid Masonry has been excellent. Phong responded very quickly to our first phone call in early July of this year and within 3 weeks the work was done tuck-pointing on 2 sides of our 100-year-old home plus re-parging the foundation wall on one long side. From our first call to request an on-site consultation to completion of the work, BrickAid Masonry has been very reliable and a pleasure to deal with. Phong and his team are professional, trustworthy and very hard-working. They arrived on time and worked diligently throughout a very long, weekend day; when they left the site was as clean as they could possibly make it, given the nature of concrete work. We were very satisfied. Then, several weeks later, a large section of our chimney cap broke off and came tumbling to the ground. We contacted Phong right away and he came to our rescue. He and his co-worker, Mike, did the repair the following week. They worked non-stop and, despite it being a long day for them both, they were meticulous. We now have a new chimney cap and the structure is secure for many years to come. The work ethic of Phong and his team is truly admirable; we cant thank them enough!

The bricks and mortar at ground level at the side of my old house were deteriorated and spalling in some places. After speaking with Phong, I decided to go for repair rather than parging. Tekla did the job in one day, replacing bricks including a windowsill and repointing where needed. There's a small section of the wall that was parged previously and he fixed a couple of cracks there too. When Phong came to assess, he added a few more fixes and now I'm pretty confident there won't be any moisture seeping through the bricks (there was efflorescence on the inside of the unfinished basement.) I will have the full side of my house repointed in a year or two and will call BAM. Both Phong and Tekla were professional, good at what they do and also very nice!

Van and Auston from Brick Aid Masonry (BAM) did a great job on my porch steps that included the repointing of mortar and front steps, replaced damaged silicon, grinder and repointed stress cracks. They even discovered that a few of the bricks were falling out of the steps and replaced them with new ones. Prior to the work, they came over to my house to discuss and evaluate the work needed. Was very clear on what needed to be done and provided a quote and timeline. I would highly recommend BAM for masonry and brick works.

Our usual routine for any maintenance or renovation work is to have a few estimates and then decide which company suits our needs. This, however, was not the scenario. A neighbor had some work done last fall and we happened to see Phong unload his supplies for that job. We asked for his business card for future reference. When we needed some work done, we recalled our first impression of him. He was polite, courteous and professional. Upon meeting him at the site for an estimate, he was punctual, knowledgeable and patient with us, taking extra time to explain what needed to be done, answer our all of many questions, provided us with a time line for the work to be completed and followed with the cost of the job. When we asked if other brick work needed to be done on the patio wall, he suggested to wait until it really needed to be repaired before we tackle it. In our experience with other companies, they would just say, they'll do it and the price escalates to benefit them. This was the deciding factor to have Brick Aid Masonry do the job! No other estimates were necessary! We agreed on the spot, to have them do the work. From start to finish, they, Phong, Van and Teo, the masonry were meticulous in their work. They seemed to take pride in their workmanship. They never rushed the job to move on to the next job. We even gave them a key to the house to allow them easier access...something we rarely do. Would we use them again? A definite YES! Would I refer him to my family and friends? For sure!

I had an excellent experience with Phong and his crew. They were neat, courteous and efficient. Replacing the deteriorated stone window sill on the third floor of this 100-year-old house was particularly challenging. I was impressed by the high quality of their workmanship and attention to detail.

Phong and Van have done a great job - tuckpointing at my place. The work was completed timely and professionally. Very happy with their work. Also, it seems to come with 2 years warrenty on their work, according to the receipt. I highly recommend this company.

I hired B.A.M to repair/replace severely damaged bricks on my front staircase walls. Due to the poor condition of the remaining bricks that had originally appeared undamaged, it turned out to be a larger project than originally planned. Despite the increase in scope, B.A.M was able to keep the cost increase to a very reasonable level. In addition, Phong and Van were punctual, courteous and overall great to work with. I am very happy with the end result and would highly recommend B.A.M.
