Our washer is only 4 1/2 years old. It would periodically lock the door with the clothes inside and not start a wash. We researched on YouTube how to fix it and tried numerous things over the past few months which mostly worked eg., turn the breaker to the washer off, wait 40 minutes for it to reset and unlock the door and then and try again. It was happening more often and so I called a local appliance repair person. I was told that it could be one of two things both of which were expensive and it wasn't clear which it was. It was recommended that I consider buying a new washer! After 4 1/2 years! We decided to keep trying the YouTube solution because buying a new washer during Covid was not going to be pleasant. Then my daughter's work clothes got locked in the washer and none of the YouTube solutions worked. I tried Appliance Aid through Homestars. Best decision I ever made! Fuad was in touch right away and sent Vitalik to look at the washer. He quickly diagnosed that it needed a new pressure switch. The part was ordered and installed the next day. Throughout the process communication with Fuad was constant and clear. He is very responsive. When he committed to a appointment, it happened. In fact, he called to say that there was an earlier time, did we want it and of course we did. Appliance Aid is definitely the gold standard for appliance repair and frankly for customer service. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong with any of our other appliances but when it does, I will be calling Fuad at Appliance Aid!

I am a landlord and I need to have working Appliances. My tenants are never dissatisfied or disappointed because Fuad is fast, reliable to fix, and very fair when it comes to prices. I consider him essential to happy landlord and tenant life.

Fuad is the best! We’ve had problems with our oven in the Fall and then with our Dryer this week. He always replies quickly and fixes the problems efficiently. He is so professional, very good at what he does and to top it off he is the nicest person. He is just amazing!

Fuad arrived on time and diagnosed the situation. He explained the issues clearly. He is very professional and knows his job really well. He replaced an extra part that was also faulty and would have needed repairs very soon.

Fuad was amazing and very accommodating. He went to my tenants apartment the same day and diagnosed the problem immediately. He ordered the part and attempted to contact my tenant to schedule an installation time. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication but after I called him, he went the same day even though he was fully booked. Very professional, honest and upfront. I would recommend him for any appliance repair.

Fuad from Appliance Aid attended our home twice. He diagnosed the problems on one visit. We needed to replace the damaged cooling fan and all of the door hinges. He returned a couple of weeks after to install the new parts and repairs our ovens. Fuad was knowledgeable, professional and worked quickly to fix all issues. Thank you Fuad!

Appliance Aid did a thorough diagnostic and provided a quote up front based on his assessment of the issue as to why the oven took so long to heat up. Oven element needed replacement. He was quick to install the new part once received. Too all COVID precautions seriously.

Our Samsung fridge started making a rattling noise, ice buildup at the back, and poor performance. We chose Appliance Aid because of the reviews on Homestars ( and after the marketplace story, after ensuring chose someone with a real address!). I called and described the problem. The gentleman was able to say he probably knew the issues, but would need to come to be sure, and that we could then decide what to do. He was honest and clear every step of the way, and in the end recommended we purchase knew rather than make a big repair on a fridge of the age and with this issue. I really appreciated a repair person advising to MY best action, not HIS best outcome. We Will definitely call Appliance Aid the next time we need a repair. Thanks!!
