June 12/20 Sapphire solutions just completed the renovations today. The work completed was professional, neat, clean, perfect. Their work ethics are impeccable, they arrive on time, equipment in hand and remain with the job site until the renovations are completed. Job costs definitely comparable to any of their competitors. Very pleasant people. Highly recommend this company......they are what they say.

This company was great from start to finish - Jay showed up quickly to give us a quote, the job was done beautifully and quickly and everything was left tidy when the job was completed. We had 7 flights of stairs capped and new hand rails and pickets installed. This was a difficult job as original stringers were installed wrong by the builder and stair sizes on each flight were different. Jay and crew were able to level all stairs as well as make the stringers and stair trim look beautiful. The attention to detail was incredible. Originally posts where anchored in our laminate on the landings and we had no matching laminate to replace the pieces with holes once the new posts were installed on the stairs. Jay and the boys removed flooring from a utility closet to patch the landings. I can't say enough good things about these guys - they go above and beyond -you don't as a rule get this level of service these days - plus the entire crew was really nice.

These guys are simply amazing. Nevermind going to the over priced City Stairs. Kyle and his brother's customer service skills are flawless. They listen, they care, there respectful, they communicate and take care of you. There craftmenship is remarkable. We couldn't be more happier with the finish product. Thanks guys.

Jay did a super job of fixing our stairs, from beginning to end. He responded quickly, explained the work that was going to be done clearly, and gave us an accurate and fair estimate. The work was completed on time and to a high quality. I’m very appreciative of how professional and easy working with them was, and would not hesitate to recommend them or work with them again.

Jay was so professional throughout this entire project. He went out of his way to visit and explain things several times before starting the job and he put my mind at ease every step of the way. His whole team was punctual, hard-working and committed to completing the job in a timely manner, even ahead of schedule. The floors and finished staircase look amazing. Jay's workmanship and attention to detail were particularly appreciated and his recommendations for baseboards, posts, spindles and stair colour matching were perfect. Kyle's expertise with the design and construction of the quartz fireplace mantle added the extra pop the family room needed. I am thrilled with the renovations! Thanks for the top-notch job!

Jay and Sam are a jem of team. These two young men sure know what they're doing there workmanship is beyond amazing. They transformed our extremely ugly 123 year old stairs into the most truly beautiful set of stairs, Thankyou so much guys. Job very well done!! Karina&Bill Fisher

My stair contractor took off suddenly leaving the stairs unfinished.  I needed to find a reputable contractor, who could finished the stairs.  Unfortunately, most did not want to touch someone else's unfinished job.  Some gave me a vague quote based on the photos I sent.  I couldn't take them seriously.   Then, Kyle from Sapphire Surfaces responded to my email.   He set up an appointment to see the stairs.    Then, gave me his opinion as to what needs to be done and how he would proceed to make it work.  Clearly, he was very knowledgeable in the field. His quote was reasonable.  As I hired him, he gave me the approximate date that he could start.   .  Kyle and his brother Jay along with another helper came to work on time.  They were respectable of my recently renovated home, being very careful with how they operate their equipment and tools. They worked diligently.  My stair handles had many corners and Kyle took his time to design it right with function and appearance in mind. It turned out great!  They were all very meticulous with their work and knew what needed to be done.  However, if I had an idea or want to make some changes, they were good listeners and did their best to accommodate.  Kyle also took care of the the plumbing for the laundry sink.  After, he adjusted the cabinet doors which the other contractor left it crooked. They even helped me out with the kitchen vent hood that was making a weird sound every time it was turned on. By taking down the hood chimney, they found out the source of the noise...  Thanks Kyle and Jay. All in all,  Sapphire surfaces did a great job completing an unfinished stairs from the first appointment for discussion to the two days of long hours and hard work.  They made everything easy.  I would have no problem recommending Sapphire Surfaces to others.

Jay's efficiency, attention to detail, and his will to go above and beyond is what I appreciated about his work the most. He is punctual, his work is clean, and he delivers on his promises. He is very easy to communicate with and I am extremely satisfied with the quality of his work. He removed all existing flooring (combination of tile, laminate, and carpet on two floors, including the carpeted stairs) and changed the baseboards in all rooms, including rooms that he was not hired to do any work in, just to ensure there is consistency throughout the home. I would 100% recommend him.

Had a very pleasant experience with Sapphiresurfaces Stair Builders. Kyle really stood out from a number of contractors that I had come to quote the job. He knew what he was talking about and his experience was clear. He wasn’t just trying to get the sale, and came across as a very genuine and trustworthy guy. Having now finished the project, I can attest to the truth of this. From start to finish, they did a great job. Jay and the guys worked very hard and put in long days ~ they weren’t here just to get the job done, but to do it right and it was obvious that they took a lot of pride in their work. I’m so happy that I was politely urged to stray from my original selections for a much better overall look. It was a big job: lots of stairs that I wanted the carpet removed on, new white spindles and risers, and stained steps to match existing floors. Where I originally wanted to keep the existing railings and posts, they helped me see that new ones would really enhance the job and it was entirely worth it. These guys are experienced professionals and know what they’re talking about ~ You’ll be in great hands. They really went above and beyond and I’m thrilled with the final look and the quality of work that went in. Thanks guys. I’ve already referred you to a friend :)

I had my curved staircase done by Sapphire stairs and railing. Jay was absolutely wonderful. He was knowledgeable and had many suggestions. Sam was fast and efficient in removing the carpet. Jay came and worked for 4 days and each day stayed until early evening. He did a fantastic job building new treads and risers. I opted for the white risers and spindles and dark stain treads. He cleaned up daily. It was an absolute pleasure having him in my home.
