    Legal Basement Creation

    Needed to get professional engineered drawings to turn my basement into a legal separate unit. Got my permit finally thanks to Anwar and Venice.

    Basement walkout entrance drawings

    I hired Anwar for the drawings and permit application of a side basement walkout entrance. There were some concerns of the city not approving the applications due to the lack of property documentation of the property line. Other contractors suggested to pay for a land survey completed. However, Anwar was able to deliver on the permit approval without going through additional work. In the end, very happy with the result!

    Basement windows

    We were looking to enlarge a basement window and add another. Anwar was very knowledgeable and was able to assist us in submitting the building permit. Would recommend to anyone looking for a competent and experienced engineer.

    Load Bearing Wall Removal, City Application Engineering, Inspection Report

    Anwar and his team were professional and knowledgeable. His people inspected the house and made the engineering drawings for the permit applications with the City. He was helpful in the permit application process as he was quick to respond to anything the City would ask for. He was also very responsive to us and was able to send an engineer to site the next business day when the City asked for their 2nd opinion. This was important to keep to the construction schedule. He's easily reachable through phone (text, WhatsApp, call) and via email. His services are good value for money - this is for a full townhome gut renovation. We would use him again and can recommend to others. Scope of work included: - Engineering structural drawings (including load bearing wall removal) and City permit application support - Plumbing drawings (turns out the City did not need this) - Site construction inspection and report when the City asked for it

    Bathroom Remodeling

    ASR Engineers Inc provided a very high quality result for our bath remodel project. They were easy to communicate with, providing input when needed while still adhering to our rather detailed vision. Once started all work proceeded steadily and without delay. Marble tile work was precise. Plumbing, electrical and glass fixtures look great and function perfectly. Work areas were kept neat and adjacent rooms well protected throughout construction. Cost was very reasonable.

    Removal of Loading Bear Wall

    I had to get a building permit to remove a load bearing wall in my kitchen. Anwar was always quick to respond, informative, and got what he promised done. His team is very experienced and know that they are doing. They came to do a site visit on Oct 28th and I got my City of Toronto building permit on Dec 19th right before the holidays. Would definitely recommend ASR to others!
