Review from HomeOwner Review left on 24 Aug 2017Rating: 5 out of 5I hired this company on the recommendation of my realtor. I was impressed by the care and quality of work I received. I live on a street with busy traffic and the noise level was cut dramatically by installing new windows. I received very helpful advice with the project and would recommend these professionals to others.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

We had over 11 deficiencies including not properly sealing the windows, broken drywall, scraps to window sills and exterior trim, and sloppy interior caulking. Not recommended unless you have time remedy their work.Answer from pro:
Hi Geoff We strive for complete customer satisfaction and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience on this job. Geoff is a repeat customer for West Coast Windows and we value and appreciate his business. His previous home that we built windows for was a lot simpler and a completely different type of window installation. This current order was a “new construction” type of install and there is always work to be done after our crew has left. It was made clear to the client that even though he pre-painted the lengths of wood trims, he will still need to sand and paint where fasteners were used to secure the trim before the job is 100% complete. The pre-painting helps with cutting in where the window meets the trim and the trim meets the siding but it won’t take away the painting prep work always needed after a window installation. The sealing of the window is our first priority and one of the reasons we can offer a lifetime warranty on the product and installation. We apologize that the job has taken so long to finish but the customer will only let us do work on his home outside of our operating hours and it has been extremely difficult to pencil in the work before or after we are closed for the day. We stand by our product and installation with a lifetime and transferable warranty. Although this job has had a few speed bumps along the way, in the end we hope that Geoff loves his new windows for many years to come.

Ordered 5 sliding windows, one being a very large living room dual sliding window. Was quoted 4900 for like windows with 'retrofit install' from Centra. If you want quality windows that will last, do your research! After getting several quotes from top companies, opted to go with West Coast because of their top notch warranty, quality of windows, installation method they used, and overall value for money. Jay and Matt did a great job on the install, answered all my questions and we're polite. I would highly recommend! Most important to note is that windows are an important investment and I recommend that everyone take their time to research to be an informed buyer. There are a lot of companies that do a quick 'jumper' install on the existing frame, BEWARE! These guys do it right!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

We needed to replace all the windows in our house with vinyl sliders. After doing a lot of research, we got various quotes. Brock immediately impressed us with his no nonsense approach to providing information and listening to our needs. We also found our visit to their facility very helpful. Some of the other companies we got quotes from came across as sleazy and/or didn't seem to know much about their products. They just wanted to sell and move on. West Coast Windows was the exact opposite. Their price was fair, and so we went with them and were not disappointed. Their crew came on time, were professional, kept the site clean, and got the job done quickly. Some months later, a couple of the windows that get a lot of sun had issues with the trim boards warping. We called West Coast, and they came and fixed the installation with no hassle. Overall, I was pleased with everything from the price, to the process, and to the final installed product. I have and would recommend West Coast to friends.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

I heard these guys were good and we wanted good windows. We were replacing just about all windows in our newly bought place. The ordering was ok as was the measurement. They came to our place measured things out, were quite quick about it. The windows took a while because they were busy but not a big deal. We had them install them when our contractor was in the house renovating the main floor. However this is when there were problems. The front window when taken out left glass everywhere in the front yard they did not clean it up and this was quite dangerous. They also ordered different windows then what we had ordered for the front window so we had to wait for many weeks for them to get new windows. A few of the windows simply didn't stay up and kept on sliding down. They also suggested it was our contractors who were responsible but finally admitted it was incorrect balances. Unfortunately, it took weeks to receive the balances and when they came in they were also incorrect. It was finally fixed - well after our main level reno was done.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

We did a lot of research on replacing windows. We went with West Coast Windows. Great job overall...but had an issue with 1 window. The Bathroom window recommended did not give any privacy from the outside. Only noticed after the installation.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Their service is excellent but I am a little disappointed with the quality of the sliding window I received. I have the window installed 4 years ago and some windows have condensation built up between the glass layers. the insulation of the window is not excellent,Answer from pro:

We had all the windows and patio door in our home replaced this summer. Because we are in a strata and wanted to replace our windows separately from the rest of our strata, the look of the windows was of critical importance. West Coast Windows listened to our concerns. They provided a sample of the window they thought would be the best match, a representative from the company met with our strata and answered all their many questions, and after meeting with them, everyone felt at ease. Now I'm what you might call “detail-oriented” and some might go so far as to say "picky". I love my home and I wanted a modern look inside regardless of what the strata wanted outside. These windows have an architectural profile that just doesn’t compare to the other window products we looked at. West Coast Windows custom painted my windows so everyone was happy and I sincerely can NOT get over the transformation from a visual and design perspective that these new windows have produced in our home. They're gorgeous, alright, but what my wife likes the most is how they perform. On our west-facing windows, we used to have to close the blinds all day so as not to heat up the house to an unbearable temperature. Now, because of the LowE and Argon glass (recommended by the staff at West Coast Windows - THANKS GUYS!), we are able to let the glorious light stream in without the side effect of solar heat gain. LET THE SUN SHINE IN! The installation crew was professional, kind, and considerate. They even vacuumed the window sills before removing the old windows to ensure dust didn't go flying around everywhere. I really appreciated that. When I got home from work, I had sparkly brand new windows and, aside from the gorgeous new windows, there was no sign that they'd been there. The house was clean and there was nothing for me to attend to. I am SO happy I chose West Coast Windows to replace my windows and 9' patio door (now lovingly referred to as "the show stopper"). I would recommend this company in a second (and already have). Other members of our strata have come over and are in awe of the transformation. Expect a few more calls next year, West Coast Windows!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

In my family home we had our old aluminum windows replaced with vinyl sliders and casement windows from West Coast Windows. My family and I are extremely happy with the product itself, and the service provided by their sales team, as well as their in house installers. As someone who has gone through multiple renovations in comparison I found the West Coast Windows team to be thorough, thoughtful, and professional from quote to completion of installation. I would be happy to recommend West Coast Windows in the future.
