I had my AC and Furnace installed as suggested in Feb, 2014 while my old AC unit was still working fine. The technicians came and started the AC in May, then in June I see severe leakage around the furnace. First technician said it's just the filter, and I changed the filter. No surprise, the leaking is still there. Another technician came and told me there's a leakage, he will ask another one to come for testing. The third one came and finally fixed it.
This is frustrating as I have to take time off work to stay home for appointments. And had to go through this three times to fix a problem that I should not have in a newly installed AC. I just opened the AC unit for one month and there's already problems.
Seems like Reliance is trying to tie their customers with their rental program to be worry free. I shouldn't be worried about the newly installed unit for at least 3 years, even if I'm not with the rental program!
