Reliance Home Comfort reviews (13630)

Was dissatisfied when I contacted Reliance Oct 23rd. They initially told me someone would come and fix the furnace on Oct 31st. Had no heat. Finally she managed to schedule someone to come this morning. Thank goodness is was not in the dead of winter!!! On the positive side, the young gentleman that came to fix the furnace was a very kind gentleman as well as very knowledgeable. If every service representative (not just with Reliance) was like Craig Austin, there would be a lot more happier customers. Regards

The water heater broke down on us and so called Reliance. They booked a technician with us Ringo Lau #2466. He was quick, kind and courteous. He explained the problem and quickly fixed it. He also noticed our plastic valve and changed it to a brass valve because he knew that plastic valve would not last. I was impressed with his attention to detail. Great job!!! Five stars for Ringo!

Although our house is not that old, we recently found ourselves in the uncomfortable position of having a service tag due to outdated venting. After calling around for a price, we decided on having Homestars complete the work. The two service reps were courteous and thoughtful as they explained our options. Despite hitting some roadblocks, they worked tirelessly to replace our venting so that our water heater could be restarted. It took until almost midnight, but they remained professional and courteous throughout. Nice job Homestars.

Gurmeet Singh #2473 was very helpful and very pleasant. He got my hot water working and explained everything as he went and made me feel really comfortable. He helped me to understand what he was doing to fix the water heater and why he was doing what he was doing. Very great customer service.

Gurmeet Singh (#2473) came for a service call. While he was here, he noticed that the side valve was leaking water and there was debris in the motor. Needless to say, he rectified all issues and we couldn't be happier with the service. Way to go Gurmeet!

Phil called ahead as promised and arrived within the promised service window. He immediately diagnosed the problem correctly soon as I turned the furnace on and returned within an hour with a new vent motor in hand. He is very professional in his demeanor and even let me watch him fix my furnace! I am certainly glad that I subscribe to the Home Comfort insurance plan. At $12.99/month it is worth the piece of mind. Without it, my repair bill have been approx $1000 including taxes. Thanks Reliance!

Very happy with the technician, Giancarlo, he was was punctual, worked quickly and took the time out to explain to myself and my husband what needed to be replaced. Highly recommended!

Our furnace had quit while we were on vacation and was too old to be worth repair. The Reliance rep was prompt (at the house the next day) and very professional and friendly. He answered all questions we asked and seemed very knowledgeable and patient.

Technician Derek Phung was very professional and helpful. We have recently moved to this house and he took the time to explain the maintenance of furnace and air conditioner to us. I am satisfied by the service and will recommend this company and technician Derek.
