I booked a service appointment with Reliance when our furnace fan failed. The Serviceman (Leland) arrived as scheduled, quickly determined the problem and replace the fan motor. He then ensured that the system was working properly before leaving. He was very courteous and knowledgeable.

I had troubles with my thermostat giving me an error reading. I called Reliance Home Comfort to come and take a look and booked the appointment for the next morning. Steve Danchak came by promptly at 7:15 am, checked the unit and explained that these new units tend to come up with this message, that it tends to be a fluke in the system. I asked him to help me through the steps of programming, since I was unfamiliar with the new thermostat. He did so, and we also checked the air flow through the house to make sure the vents were open and everything was working properly. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. Great service!

I was not impressed by the barely English speaking person answering service line. Problem was not recorded properly. No big surprise. The following review for David MacDonald I.D.3510 The repair person was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable. Gave us some good advice about maintenance going forward. Our furnace is old, but he found a replacement part, went to get it and returned to install it right away. I expected he would come back the next day, as we are 45 minutes minimum from London. David was here on time. Was very efficient, wife and I very impressed. If Reliance would stop using off shore phone help, I'd give the company 5 stars.

Yesterday i go a visit from agent (Jason N 0829) who was extremely a helpful person and could resolve the problem within 20min. It's the second time i meet the same agent for different type of services and successfully it ends up with best results. Thank you Jason, Thank you Reliance for sending us professional staff in a quick response.

Reliance was not the original installer of our furnace/AC since they were not located in our area at the time. Our installation company is no longer in business but I was very fortunate to find Reliance just a few minutes away from my home. The technician (John) inspected the thermostat and was very knowledgeable, realizing immediately that the equipment was beyond repair and needed to be replaced. Within two days we had a new thermostat. John provided us with a great deal of useful information about the proper use of the equipment. He was even available by phone later that day for a follow-up concern. I intend to use the services of Reliance for all of my future home comfort needs.

Water heater stopped working, so no hot water. Called for service and the technician was here within half an hour. He checked out the heater and did some trouble shooting, then replaced a part and we are now good to go. Technician was very friendly and knowledgable.

Barry (#1691) came this morning and did the annual maintenance service for my A/C system. Since I just bought my house last year and started my service plan with Reliance Home Comfort for both of my furnace and A/C, today was the 1st time to have the maintenance service for my A/C. Barry did a great job. He is very knowledgable and patient. He answered all of my questions. He also gave me many tips on how to keep my A/C running efficiently and properly. I would highly recommend Reliance Home Comfort.

The Techs that came to my home were very prompt, professional, and polite. They answered all of my questions, and even showed me how to better increase my ductwork airflow through setting dampers.

Your employee, Darrick, was very personable while informing me of what was to be repaired. He went over and above by ensuring keeping his work place, and my home, clean of things such as soot and other materials. I was very pleased by his work all around! Thank you!

Cal came by to give us a quote when we were pricing out a new furnace and AC. Of all the quotes he was able to not only match them but we got better then what we asked for at a still lower cost. Cal took the time to explain the differences in products, and which were more efficient, what government rebates were available and the ease of the furnace (ex: lifetime allergy filter). A few days later we called Cal to let him know we wanted to go with Reliance and the deal offered. We met again and upon discussion some problems we were having (like getting a double 20 breaker installed in our panel) , he told us our electrician could call him anytime if he had questions. Needless to say, we ended up not having the electrician because of time constraints and the date for install was coming up, and upon calling Cal to let him know of this problem he immediately resolved it for us. The installers he sent were Dan & Luc. They called when they were coming and were friendly and courteous, on time. Even our 2 dogs seemed to take to them right away which determines a good judge of character. They efficiently had our furnace and AC installed in less time then planned for, even helped us with our breaker. Couldn't ask for better. Would highly recommend Reliance and their team to get that chill in your home....already nice and cool in this house and they've only been gone an hour.
