    Furnace & Ac

    I had Dave come to look over my AC/furnace as the air conditioner was not working at all. He came in, checked both furnace & air unit, and said that my furnace was in good shape and didn't need to be replaced. He looked over my AC unit & got it working. He told me that the AC had a soon-to-be outdated freon (R-22) and that I might consider a replacement got the AC in the future. I feel he did an amazing job at getting my system working and giving me the option with the AC. It was nice to not have a repairman be a salesman first. I thank him for his honesty. Other companies that were in did not compare to the service I got today. The serviceman was Dave #2185.

    Air Conditioning

    We had signed up for the Customer Protection Plan through Reliance. A technician came on Wednesday last week but because of rain he was unable/unwilling to do much investigation. However, he looked at the outside of the AC unit and said that we probably needed a new one since it is quite old. He also said that our electrical bills are probably very high since it is not as efficient as the new AC units and he recommended sending out a sales representative before bothering to really examine our unit On Sunday, Paul C. #1690 (senior technician) came and very quickly determined that there was a blown high voltage fuse! He was very straightforward and helpful. He came to our home previously when we had a furnace problem. He found and repaired a dirty sensor that fixed our problem at minimum cost. I understand that older equipment does break down and may not be worth repairing, but I truly appreciate that Paul takes the time to investigate before deciding that the equipment should be replaced!

    Heating/Air conditioning Preventative Maintenance

    Outstanding service from our technician. Very friendly, very knowledgable, quick and efficient. Got the work done, explained everything very well to me. I am very impressed with the service I received today! Thank you.

    furnace

    we had Andrew at our house to talk about upgrading the furnace. He was on time, knowledgeable and informative. We appreciated him not being pushy and allowing us to make an informed decision. Thank you for sending Andrew over.

    Replace Water Heater

    I had my rental water heater break on me, flooding the basement floor. I was not happy about this event, however, the tech that replaced the unit was great from start to finish. He made sure there were moving rugs from my front door to the basement, explained about the new piping to meet code and why it needed to be changed out. He also explained how to make changes to the temps and was fast, clean and efficient. Joey D., employee #977 was fantastic, I wish all service guys would take after him! Great job Joey!!!

    A/C issue

    Extremely dissatisfied with the Customer Service aspect of this company. Had service call booked from 10am-2pm. 2:20pm received a call to tell me service was running late. Why was I not called before the window period? I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told one would call me back in a couple of minutes. After 30 mins I decided to call back and spoke with Wendy and Eric. 10 minutes later the original rep called me to tell me her supervisor was in a meeting and I asked why did it take her 40 mins to call me to tell me that? It continued to baffle me why I had to continue to call to get updates on my service call. I can understand that jobs may take longer but a call from Reliance to provide updates would go a long way. I was compensated 3 months of coverage fees for this. Thank you Eric and Lizz for being very patient and understanding of the situation. Around 5pm (3 hours after window period) BEA1234 arrived. He noticed that a part was not ordered for the repair. He left to go get the missing part. I called customer service to explain the new issue and was treated very rudely and unsympathetically by Terry D. He said he was going to do some coaching with the Service staff. BEA1234 returned and continued to fix the a/c. He was very friendly and thorough with the job. He explained that the original service guy received my ticket just prior to 5pm when he was scheduled to be finished (well done Reliance!) but he took the call. BEA1234 told me what the issue was and what caused the malfunction. He performed the service call and did a fantastic job. Well after 5 hours past the original window period the job was done. Thank you BEA1234, Eric, Lizz and Wendy. Reliance you need to improve your customer care and communication with your clients and take note from BEA1234, Eric, Lizz and Wendy on how to treat your clients.

    air conditioner, furnace and tankless water heater

    The salesperson was able to adequately and efficiently able to answer my questions. The installers did a very good job So far, I am able to report the air conditioner is significantly stronger than my outdated unit. One recommendation I have is for management to not pressure the salespeople to pressure the customer to hurry and write this review. Another suggestion is to attempt to encourage salespeople's punctuality in keeping set appointments.

    Service

    Matt ID# 1920 & Christian ID#1809 Called an hour before arriving. When coming in they had special little slip on shoe to make sure they were not dirting my house.I was impressed with the knowlegde of the equipment we had and, how fast they diagnose the problem. Good job Relance you have TWO young gentleman well trained and lot of knowledge in tthere trade.If i have any more problems i hope to get these guys again.From start to finish about 20 minutes.

    Air Conditioning Service

    During a spell of hot humid weather my air conditioning wouldn't come on. I called Reliance and the call went to Seasons Change in Gravenhurst. They called to set up an appointment within the hour for the next morning. Their tecnician arrived on time and found the problem quickly. It was a bad relay. He had the part with him and we were up and running in no time. He checked over some of the other items as well and all was good. Great service from Seasons Change.

    air conditioner

    My air conditioner wasn't cooling and I called late in the day to schedule a repair. The telephone receptionist was very helpful and polite. He apologized for not being able to have someone come that day, but scheduled an appointment for early the next morning. The repair man was prompt, polite and professional. He found the problem, checked a few other areas just to be thorough and was gone in under an hour. Excellent!!! When I called to schedule a repair appointment, I thought I would be waiting till the following week. I was very happy with the timeframe, the professionalism and the promptness. Thank you!
