    maintenance

    Appreciate the work done by Tech : Derek Phung Employee # 2393 who did the spring maintenance for our air conditioning system at 2 houses in Richmond hill, Ontario. That was on June 5th, 2013

    Hot Water Tank

    Excellent Service. Our hot water tank needed to be rest. Wally Employee # 0480 waited to make sure that it was working properly before leaving. While he waited he was explaining why it stopped working, another error code came up and he fixed that issue as well. He arrived before the time frame we were given. Wally he was very friendly and knowledgeable.

    air conditioner

    no cold air flowing, called reliance and technician came out the next day. Technician (Nathan) spent 3. 5 hours thorough, gentle and very curteous. air conditioner was working before he left. We were very pleased with the service we received

    Water Heater Rental

    The current apartment I rent and the last apartment I rent have the same Reliance water heater rental issues. In both apartments, the water heater died and flooded my apartment. It took several service calls to get a new water heater installed (in my current apartment, it took 3 visits before they put the water heater in and I was without hot water for almost a week). Both "new" water heaters failed soon after (within 24 hours for the one in my current apartment). I got a Reliance repairman to admit that the "new" water heater in my last apartment was not actually new and it was a water heater someone else did not want. Anyways, when a water heater fails, you can usually reset it by unplugging it so that is what I did. However, this time, within 2 weeks, the water heater no longer worked at all. When you call Reliance for a service call, they will not come until the following day at the earliest and they sometime miss appointments and sometime they come and tell me they can't do anything and I have to book another appointment for someone who can. I would say that only 1 out of every 3 or 4 repairman will actually try to do the repair you call them out for. I am not sure if the other reviews on this website are from actually customers or not but I cannot believe after all my troubles, that what others have said are true (i.e. getting a service appointment for a non-urgent issue in an hour).

    Water heater leaking

    David Tran from Flan Air called prior to coming and showed up at the prescribed time. David fixed the issue very quickly and was very personable and friendly. Highly recommended.

    Nathan #983 called and arrived on time and proceeded to service first the air conditioner then the furnace.All work was done efficiently and explained as necessary.Continue to get good service from Reliance.

    Furnace, Air Conditioner, Tankless Water Heater

    Dean Timpany described the equipment and advised systems that he felt met our needs. Answered our questions and provided personal experience with the systems under consideration. It was a positive experience overall.

    service water heater

    I called at 7 a.m. to report no hot water. Ryon was at our house by 8:00 a.m. and fixed the problem in 10 minutes. He was courteous and efficient. Knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it. Excellent service!

    Furnace Tune Up

    Derek Phung was amazing! I was very happy with the check up. I felt the Derek was thorough and truthful. You could see he took pride in his work! Derek was punctual, thoroughly outlined the possible problems, gave me his plan of attack, then came back and finished the job. Thorough, honest, focused, pleasant to deal with. I trust him....and that cannot be said about many service people. Very respectful and polite. I will be asking for him again.

    Installation of the thermostat

    Our thermostat was installed by Derek Phung, employee# 2393. He was very professional and careful working in our home. He makes sure the thermostat works properly and cleaned up after the installation. highly recommended.
