    Furnace Installation

    It all started when I rec'd a letter from Reliance in regards to the new Water Heater that was installed last year and that the protection plan had to be renewed. Called Reliance CSR and renewed, at the end of the call the CSR asked if all my equipment was operating fine. I informed her that my Furnace was making a loud noise. CSR right away scheduled a call for that same day for 1p.m. The techs arrived on time and checked the furnace and informed me that the Secondary Exchangers were getting bldg up. SR. Tech John Saliba informed me that this particular furnace was defective ( Carrier ) installed by the Home Builder. Therefore, before saying yes to a new furnace I called Carrier to find out what could be done with this furnace. Carrier informed me that I should take it up with the company that I deal with. So I called John and explained him what carrier had said he informed me to call Tim Brown his Mgr. I contacted Tim and explained my situation. Tim took all stress off my shoulders and contacted Carrier. Tim informed me what Carrier agreed to, and it is than I decided to have a new furnace installed. A date was set for installation which was Wednesday March 8th 2013. The installers came in on time and went to work it took them 4hrs and I had a working furnace. The installers were professional and polite and were very accommodating Installers ( Manual and Taylor ) excellent work. On March 11th 2013 I Had Tech Adam come from Reliance to check the furnace and install the Infinity Control Stat. Adam was polite and most accommodating he wired my Humidifier to the furnace and now the furnace controls it. He made sure that everything was working and that I was satisfied. To Tim, John, Adam, Manual and Taylor professional, polite and excellent job done. I am glad that I joined the maintenance program offered by Reliance Home Comfort peace off mind and service is great CSR staff is polite and professional keep up the excellent work.

    Furnace & Air Condition Replacement

    I was looking to change my furnace & AC and I was shoping around and finally I found a good representative from Reliance home comfort company Rodney and he gave me a good advice plus good product with excellent rate. I recommend people to try Relaince company if they are looking to change the furnace or AC, becasue they have a good proffesional like Rodney and they will guide you as per your requirement.

    service call for Air Exchanger

    Air Exchanger was not working properly. Technician, Pat D., levelled the air exchanger. He was very knowledgeable and explained its use as well as fix our furnace to regulate the heat more efficiently throughout the house since we have a split level house. Service call was answered promptly.

    New Furnace and AC

    I had a system installed on my property and it was done to the expectations set out by the Sales Rep, Rodney Schunker. He was diligient and followed up with the installation quality and was very accessible even after the installation was done. Great job by Reliance.

    water heater

    When taking a shower last week, I noticed that no hot water was coming out. I figured that there was probably an issue with my hot water heater and that it was probably time to get a professional here to fix it. I called Reliance Home Comfort and was told that Canadian Air Systems serviced my area. They setup an appointment for one of their technicians to come out and see what was going on. Steve, the technician, made quick work of the issue and fixed the faulty part in my water heater. Great service, would definitely recommend.

    Furnace, AC, and hot water tank

    With the purchase of our home we inherited an aging furnace and AC unit and a rented hot water tank. By unfortunate coincidence, both the furnace and hot water tank expired simultaneously, and we had to consider repair or replacement. The Reliance technician dispatched for the rented hot water tank replacement, Eric, was extremely helpful and professional. Unfortunately, he had to gently advise us that our basement renovation had inadvertently created some code violations for both our furnace and our water heater that we needed to resolve immediately for the safety of our home. He was respectful and courteous, and patiently explained the issues and potential solutions without pressure or judgment. Eric recommended we meet with a Home Comfort Advisor, and within an hour Glen arrived to assess our issues and offer solutions. Glen was able to quickly outline and quote several solutions for our problem -- and although I’m sure it was obvious that our need for a solution was urgent, he patiently answered all my questions and willingly gave me time and opportunity to consider my options. I genuinely felt that he was partner in finding a solution that worked for us. Throughout the process I did seek second opinions and estimates from competitors. What impressed me most about Reliance was their professionalism in restraining from criticizing other vendors or suppliers. Instead of focusing on tearing down the competition, they limited their discussion to reinforcing the merits and advantages in choosing Reliance. In the end, it was those undeniable advantages that persuaded me to remain a Reliance customer and we purchased and installed a new furnace and AC unit within a week. From the moment I placed the after-hours call for service to the completion of the installation of the equipment, I met professional and dedicated representatives from Reliance. Special thanks for Eric and Glen for turning a few strokes of bad luck into a very positive experience.

    Needed a part replaced on furnace to get it working again.

    We had Frank from Brampton come look at our furnace and then come back to replace the part. He has worked on the furnace once before, and both times was punctual, polite, explained what needed to be done and got it done in a timely manner. If I had a complaint, it is not with Frank's service at all, it is with the company. We spent ALL of our Saturday waiting to hear from a service person and had to call back several times over 9 or 10 hours only to learn that we would not have someone come until Sunday. Saturday being our only day off to get what we need to get done for the week, you can imagine how frustrating this was. Perhaps there was a shortage of service people for Saturday (Mar 9th), but it would have been appreciated if this was communicated to us so instead of being told that "someone had been dispatched and should call us soon" we could have used our free time more effectively. Again, once Frank was here, his service was great and though we hope that we don't have any more trouble with our furnace/air conditioning, we look forward to seeing him again if another problem does arise.

    Install of AC

    Dan and Kory installed my new central air conditioner. The installers were on time, quick and cleaned up after the install. Craig the manager stopped by during the installation. Unit is working well and I would recommend Reliance.

    Furnace installed

    It's with great pleasure that I had the opportunity to experience dealing with Reliance Home Comfort. The person I cam in contact with was a lady welcomed me into to the office even though it was 15 minutes after closing time. Then the sales person explained everything that I need to know. The company adviser came to my hour at 7:30 pm on a Saturday night and do all the measuring while explaining everything, this was done beyond his regular daily schedule. The installers removed the old furnace, and installed the new one. From start to finish they were very professional. They even washed the floor when they were done!     Hot Water Heater

    Our rental water heater is 19 years old. Time for an inspection. Within one hour the tech was here. He did a thorough inspection, checked the anode, the burner, the water heating efficiency and gave lots of good advice regarding replacement options when the time came. Pleasant and cheerful fellow.
