    comfort plan maintenance visit

    I scheduled my appointment for maintenance which was included in my comfort care plan, The serviceman was punctual. He stayed one hour on the premise. However, I was very frustrated that there was no record left as to what was done. Both my husband and I work and we were not able to be there and would have appreciated a clear outline of what was actually done, signed by the serviceman. I let Reliance know in a survey I was unhappy and someone named Karla sent me an email saying she would like to communicate with me. After emailing her and calling her office, she sent me an email saying,"Tried to reach this survey participant but no response!" I presume there was a miscommunication here but I shouldn't be the one to call around. Eventually I called Reliance and spoke to someone else. I still have not received my report.

    New Air Conditioner

    Dean Eyford has done an amazing job all the way from his initial presentation, through its execution to post sales service. Just a superb job. Would gladly recommend him in the future.

    Replace rental water heater

    We needed our water heater replaced and I was told that someone would arrive between 1 and 5 pm to inspect. I was concerned that I might waste the whole afternoon and they would have to come back to do the installation. At 12:30 I received a call from Joey D. #0977 saying he would be there in about a half hour. He arrived at 1 pm, inspected the water heater and said that he had one with him and it would take about 2 hours to replace. He was very pleasant, and I offered to help him carry the bulky heater if necessary but he said he should be okay. Sure enough, on his own, he managed to remove the old one and install the new one by 3 pm. I was very pleased with his excellent attitude and the pride in his work. The fact that the entire job was completed in such a timely fashion was amazing.

    Trouble with furnace

    On September 12, Ed #8255 came to diagnose a problem with the furnace. He found a large quantity of bird seed growing in the outside vent. He had to go and get some parts to fix the vent. He spent a great deal of time cleaning and repairing the vent. He was very helpful in recommending how to avoid the probelm in the future. I was extremely pleased with the service and would recommend him highly.

    Thermostat malfunction

    Service tech. Naresh Chattarpaul (Paul)came on a service call at my home.He called ahead of time to let me know approx. what time he will be here and he was punctual.He diagnosed the problem within a few minutes and set about fixing it.He did a neat and detailed job, informing me exactly what he was doing.He was knowledgable and gave me good advise for the upkeep of my equipment.I will be recomending him to my friends.

    Remove 30 year old furnace/air cond. in a confined space. Install new units and piping. Have been overypaying for over 10 years not knowing that a new unit would be less expensive to rent and monthly gas bill

    Reliance workers were very neat using runners on the carpet. The salesman was out twice to make sure of the measurements as the space was very confined and the water unit has to be removed and reinstalled after the new furnace/aircond. was installed. As we were paying too much every month, they will not be billing us for 6 months to compensate. Can't complain. Good job, good workers. Filled us in on everything after the units were put in.

    Water Heater Replacement

    Jordan was the second representative they sent and he was absolutely great. He definitely deserves 10 stars as he was very knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. He had our new water heater installed very quickly and I am extremely satisfied with his work.

    Annual furnace service

    Prompt service as booked, cost included in my service contract. Pleasant, polite and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. Knew what he was doing and just did it. Took less than 20 minutes.

    cleaning

    We had just acquired the Comfort Protection plan. We needed our furnace cleaned as we had not had it cleaned for a couple of years and it was dirty. Tech Rob came to clean the furnace. Rob was very personable, organized, neat and thorough. He explained what maintenance we needed to do in the future between cleanings. What great service we received from Reliance.

    Oil to gas furnace; tankless water heater

    Bill and Jon installed our new furnace over a two-day period. They were courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to have in our home. Can't say enough about their extra efforts on our behalf!! THANK YOU both very much!
