    Fixs boiler furnace

    Very pleased with the service from calling in taking to the lady and the service man everything was perfect showed up on time followed all Covid protocols explained the repairs and detail very clear thank you

    Worst service for repairs I ever experienced

    My furnace broke I have to wait a week for service and then the opponent is 8 to 1 no show also my water tank broke 3 days later they came missed there first opponent so they came the next day this is just a joke first u have book an emergency then they don't show then they can take as long as they want to fix when Ure renting something it should only take 24 hours for someone to come but now if stuck with a contract so in stuck now and use now it so I get treated like crap so thanks reliance for. Keepings us from a good service and also train Ure staff on the phone as it's sad service too

    Service Tech

    The hot water heater non working. The service tech assigned to check on our hot water tank was Abram. He came in time. He’s polite. Explains what was the problem and tells us some recommendations.

    Reliance Plumbing Service

    Jordan arrived on time, was courteous, tidy and explained everything to me. He gave me alternatives at different price points and executed the replacement of the toilet quickly and well. He was exemplary. TJ

    Annual Furnace Maintenance

    As usual the Reliance tech was courteous and friendly and answered my questions, and he wore a mask as per Covid regulations. He worked quickly and efficiently and when he was finished, he explained what he had found. All was well.

    Service

    Kendal is the most amazing sales rep who tested our water for a new Water Softener & Iron filter system as well as a Reverse Osmosis system. Kendal used all the Covid protocols as she went through all the testing that had to be done for a rural area. She was great at explaining what everything meant that dealt with the problems with our water and how the new systems would work. Kendal kept on top of all our issues. We were so impressed with Kendal that we looked at our Heating & Air Conditioning Service Agreement to change over to Reliance but unfortunately they do not service electric furnaces. Reliance is lucky to have this woman on their staff. Kendal takes care of all details when you ask questions. We give her a 10 out of 10

    Canceling a service is a nightmare

    If I could give this company less than 0 I would. If you may ever want to cancel a service with this company in the future, and expect to receive even bare minimum customer service- STEAR CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. I inherited using this company when I purchased a home 6 months ago. It is a electric hot water tank rental. I wanted to switch to gas on demand and buy it outright, so I had to go with another company. Fast forward, to cancel the service I have had to call them over 5 times so far (yes, it is still not done), with most of the representatives providing misinformation each time I call. if you do choose this company -be ready to wait on long holds and be passed from agent to agent, where managers will not speak to customers (I was told "she/he will tell you the same thing" on more than one occasion). There is no one available to help after 5 pm UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY SOMETHING, then they are more than happy to assist after 5pm. To uninstall OR have it picked up is 125$ charge (while I requested this, I was never contacted after 24h as was indicated by one rep). Alternatively, you can drop off your rental free of charge, but be prepared - my closest location is only open mondays, wednesday and thursdays from 8am-noon. Also, only the bill holder can drop it off (unless you fill out an agency form and mail/email to the company for approval- be ready to wait another 24+ hours upon receipt for this to be reviewed) The above is just a sampling of the excessively complicated administrative procedures I had to experience - bureaucracy and excessive procedure seem to be inherent to this company. Even when following the directions given, there is room for error- as it is a 50/50% chance that you received the correct information in the first place. sorry for the novel of a review but OVERALL, UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING TIME and putting your sanity to the test, I would suggest choosing a different company (thankfully of which there are many in Ottawa!). I would not recommend reliance to my worst enemy.

    Furnace Installation

    Bill and Collin arrived on time at our home. They took all COVID-19 precautions. They took the time to lay down runners so that our home was kept clean. They were extremely polite, explained what they were going to do and upon completion took the time to answer all questions. I would definitely refer them to friends requiring a new furnace.     Electrical

    Joe was very early for his appointment time. When he showed up he was very courteous and friendly. He figured out the problem and installed new pieces quickly. He explained everything in detail.

    New Rental furnace

    Old furnace was not working properly and after meeting with Sales representative had a new rental unit installed. Very happy with whole experience! Great, courteous, efficient service from sales and installation staff! Thank you!
