    install of central air

    as soon as i posted a need i got a call,so fast-Terry came out and evaluated my needs-very nice funny man,up front about costs ,contract etc.-and the install was done 2 days after- usually they install the next day,its a promise they make but i had appts-poor installer had to deal with my poor house's wierd electrical setup but he did a great job- didn't mind me watching a bit- fast friendly and it works really well- thx

    A/C repair

    The technician came on time. Troubleshooting and inspection was very efficient. Found the problem and came back with the replacement part. Finished the repair in a timely manner. I highly recommend Reliance for an excellent service.

    Older a/c unit

    Technician came out in a Sunday & replaced my A/C fan motor, with a new universal fit motor, as well as blown capacitor. Because my a/c is old, the parts are hard to find, but he retrofit the new motor, which he had in stock, to my old unit, & it’s running great. also topped up the Freon. He was friendly, and efficient.

    Ac/furnace

    We had a great encounter with your worker mark he was very detailed and gave us a great understanding of everything that would be happening, overall I would recommend to other people.

    Hot water tank

    I have a hot water tank that quit Saturday evening July 13. I called for service this morning July 14 and was advised that a tech would be out to see it Tuesday July 16th. That is 3 whole days with no hot water! This company is not reliable at all. Who goes 3 days without showering or doing dishes! Really? That is what this company thinks PEACE OF MIND is? There moto is " we are not comfortable unless you are comfortable" Well I'm not comfortable to say the least.

    Replaced AC & Furnace

    Our Air conditioner (19 years old) died. Reliance were great, Sarah came to explain the options promptly and on my schedule (evening and weekend). Bill and Kyle the installers were efficient and professional. It was really a no hassle operation from start to finish. We've used Reliance home comfort for years, and have never had a bad experience. Responses are prompt, service is always friendly. Really top notch.

    Terrible customer service

    I booked an appointment for leaking water heater, the service representative took down the number for technicians to call ahead of time. The representative kept going on about plumbing plan which I declined and I told her I need to get this problem sort out. She never respected my wish and try to sell other plan. I was polite yet firm to state again my main concern of flooding basement. On that day of appointment the technician never arrived and apparently the representative never gave the technician the correct number to call. I wonder if it is because I turn down the plan and no service call is honoured????

    Water Heater repair

    Rental water heater service. Tech arrived when promised. Called ahead to confirm arrival time. Fixed flame ignition on water heater. Working great now. Job well done. Thank you to Reliance

    A/C repair

    A/C was broken, technician came and was able to assess problem with ease and explain the problem and causes in a way that was really easy to understand. He cleaned out A/C unit and made recommendations for managing the proximity of the dryer vent and the resulting buildup on the A/C. Above doing their job our technician Dave was very easy going and personable. They were very passionate about their job and the profession and very engaged with us all throughout the process.

    Great Furnace and A/C Sales Service

    After reviewing several furnace and A/C units and payment options with the Reliance sales rep. John, we finally decided to go with a unit that was one of the best in Carrier’s product line and currently has a great $2,600.00 discount promotion. So at our appointment with John yesterday (Jul 11/19) all three of us (John, my husband and I) were looking at the pictures and features descriptions in the Carrier flyer, showing two furnace and a/c units, with both air conditioners showing “Up to 19” SEER, only in different sizes. Since we needed a smaller one, we focused on that one. John then completed (online, on his laptop) the whole package order and since we thought we already went through all the products we’re buying, I just signed digitally on his laptop screen and John later sent me the purchasing contract by e-mail. However, when I then looked at the products in the order, I noticed the a/c shows “up to 16 SEER”. Since this didn’t look right to me, I looked up that a/c product number online, compared it with the other “up to 19” SEER a/c and realized we’re not getting what we thought we’re buying. (It also had a single-stage scroll compressor type vs. two variable-speed of the other one.) Since I got pretty disturbed by that, I decided to call John right away (even though it was after his work hours) and ask for explanation. He was surprised as well, said he’ll look into that with his office manager and get back to me tomorrow morning. I received a call from John at 8:00 AM today telling me he’s on his way to our house to explain everything. It appears, we all overlooked some tiny, tiny print on top of the Carrier flyer page, with two ** for the (also tiny) note on the bottom of the page, saying that that particular a/c in the package has up to 16 SEER. John said, he explained to his manager what happened and how this upset us and the manager then decided to give us a different a/c, actually more advanced in the line than both of those we looked at. And, even though full price of that whole unit was $600.00 higher and it didn’t fall into the $2,600.00 discount promotion - To make up for their (however honest) error, they decided to give it to us for the price we already agreed to pay, so we actually ended up getting a $3,200.00 discount from the full price of this new unit. Needless to say, we were so extremely pleased with this gesture! We have been the Reliance Home Protection Plan customers for years and were always quite happy with their services; however, this gesture could really be an example of great business ethics and respect for customers. Thanks Reliance - We now just hope the furnace and a/c installation goes well and everything ends well.
