Horrible Service for Rented Water Heater
Water heater stopped working on Thurs. night. Called Friday morning for service. Technician came in good time but did not have the correct part. Said the part would be purolated to our home and he would be back that day to install it. He left our water heater disassembled and the main water shut off. It was 40C outside and we have kids and pets and no running water! The part did not come and the technician did not return. My husband called and they said to call back if the part did not come by 10am Saturday morning. No part came. My husband called back. They said the parts warehouse was closed and the part would not come until Monday. When my husband explained that the main water was still shut off and we would be without any running water in a heat wave, the woman on the phone got snippy with him. He asked her if someone could please come and do whatever was needed so we could at least have running water while we waited for the part. She said she could not put in another work order because the first one was still open??!! My husband explained again to her that we could not wash our hands, flush the toilets etc. and that we could not wait until Monday and she tried to argue with him. He asked to speak to a supervisor and she finally agreed to send a technician to get our water hooked up. No hot water until Monday though. Needless to say we will be looking elsewhere for our hot water needs! I hope anyone reading this will too.
