Lost a days pay account no show
I lost $250 in pay as I took the day off work as I had an appointment to have my hot water tank replace.
After several call during the day advising the appointment time was being pushed back I was told it was too late in the day and the service man was going home for the day
So I decided to install a privately owned tank. So Relience would not pick their old tank AND they wanted to know who was removing my old tank - wanted the technician certification ( of the person installing the new private tank )
Kind of none of their business where I brought my replacement tank and who installed it
The tech installing the new tank told me Reliance after 15 years of renting their tank to would be claiming the Tank Manufacture warranty on my old tank. Well now I don’t pay them rent and I GET TO CLAIM WARRANTY ON MY TANK IF NEEDED
Wish I had known this 15 years ago in stead of thinking I had the security of renting
At the end of the day I returned their tank and have never looked back
Recently they came up with a conditional $500 guarantee if the service man does not show up ... WONDER WHY THEY HAD TO COME UP WITH THIS
