    Great Technician/Mediocre Salesmen

    Nate was a great technician, professional and courteous. She took her time to get to the root of the issue. Although the sales person was under prepared and he didn't take time to explain all the options. He came with no paperwork and the whole process was unprofessional.

    Furnace Repair

    Condensation hose was linked and causing build up of water in newly replaced fan. Jim my technician was great. Thorough, friendly, we talked a lot as he worked. He replaced my hose cleaned up the furnace and made sure to test it out and then check my CO2 levels, heat register as well. Very impressed.

    Yearly maintenance furnace/A/C

    Our maintenance was done by Dave who provided excellent service. He was very informative and answered all of our questions. We were very satisfied with our furnace and A/C yearly servicing. Would definitely recommend Dave and hope he is our serviceman again. The protection plan is worth it and gives us peace of mind.

    Smelly Water

    Called Monday and a tech. person (Paul) was sent out Tuesday morning. He discussed our options, checked the equipment and it was decided a water filter was needed and possibly a new water softener. We opted for the filter to be done first.. He ordered the part and put through the work order as well as tested the water. Paul also arranged for someone else to come out and test the water for more detailed information. Paul was concerned about the test with the strip showed the water at almost the worst it could be.. thanks Paul.

    Replace thermostat

    Appointment request to replace thermostat. Received an appointment same day. Great service. On time. I was out when I received the call and the technician waited for me to arrive. Quick and helpful.

    Furnace inspection

    We have the furnace maintenance plan. James called to say he’s 10 minutes away. He was very pleasant with a great sense of humour. He gave us maintenance tips keeping his explanations simple and to the point. He booked us to meet with an associate so we can know our options regarding additional heating. He politely clarified a miscommunication with the call centre helping us understand our coverage. Thanks James, you’re welcome any time.

    Excellent Service

    The technician that worked on my furnace was top notch! He not only changed the filter but he was able to resolve the issue I had with a filter warning every 3 months instead of every year. It was due to an incorrect setting. I was a very happy customer!

    Hot water heater rental

    Had several service calls since the new year as various things have aged and needed replacement. Always pleasant and prompt. Have even had them available to come prior to the window in a few cases, and they always call to confirm. I rent my water heater, and they have done all the service I needed with no billing issues.

    Basement plumbing issue

    Unusual bubble from the toilet in the basement. Greg did a great job explaining what the process would be to resolve it. Reliance has really nice and professional plumbers!! Don't hesitate give them a shout. Matt came today (Sunday) and did a great job fixing our toilet. He was very thorough and explained to me the root cause. I appreciated his honesty as well.

    Billing practice

    I have called the company 2 months prior to moving to close my account. I received the next bill and was billed for the next quarter. Have called the company to complain about the bill, no success. Very bad customer service. I paid the bill but prorated the amount. I received a bill the following month to pay the balance plus added interest. Isn't this crazy. want to bill me even when I moved out.
