    New Furnace

    Today March 15 /2019 Reliance was at our home to install the new high efficency furnace, everything went very well and a great job was done by Farid, Nick and Ali, they worked very hard every one of them, ,most important they knew very well what they were each doing , Daniel the company Adviser he made sure everything was going according and it did, at the end everyone did a great job cleaning up.

    New Furnace Installation

    I would keep away from this company. It has been a nightmare from day one. New furnace was installed in December. Credit card charged twice and waited for a refund that I had to chase for over a month. Furnace was not installed properly and ended up with gas leak and gas being shut off by Enbridge in middle of night in winter. Technician came out and attempted to fix it but following week another gas smell and back out came technician. Was offered a $300 refund for my inconvenience and frustrations back in early February. I just followed up and for some reason the cheque was never issued as there is a hold on it! Maybe they didn't feel I deserved any compensation. I can't think of any other reason why the refund cheque was not issued in February like it was supposed to. The furnace was paid in full by the way. They had no problem taking my money.

    Furnace issues

    Thanks to Chris, he solved our issue with our furnace quickly and efficiently...and the service call was answered this time on the same day. We appreciate this immensely! Unfortunately, had to come back again 8 days later and on the same day as called (yay), he found a gas issue that probably saved our lives and our home--thank you Chris, replaced the batteries in our thermostat...easy fix...but had to come back same day...we again had no heat, he really diagnoses everything, and found we had an issue with the drain on our furnace, which was affecting the pressure switch....he is such a good technician...he is our preferred tech as of now!!!     New water tank

    Called today because we were having water temperature issues and also distribution issues. Reliance was able to assess, review our situation and install a new tank, all in the same day! Had two excellent technicians and great service.

    HVAC system problems solved

    I recently was experiencing some heating issues with my HVAC system so I called Reliance to make a service call appointment so they could assess the situation and because I rent a water boiler from them. The technician (George) came to my home on time and was very good in communicating and explaining to me about my HVAC system. George adjusted my boiler settings so that my hot water would run more efficiently and he diagnosed that the biggest issue I had was with my air handler as the coils inside had calcified. George demonstrated several things to me that proved the boiler over working correctly and was sending hot water to the air handler but the dramatic loss of heat was occurring inside of that component. The recommendation was to deal with the air handler coils. George went over the possible scenarios, what would cost less or more and what would be the long term solution for the air handler, being that it was quite old already. The specific recommendation was to replace the air handler with a new unit and that would put my HVAC system back into good standing in terms of hot water and home heating. That is when Dustin, the Reliance advisor came into the picture to arrange and communicate what my options were in terms of what air handler units were applicable, buying versus renting, potentially upgrading my boiler at the same time, there were many options offered with some good financial and promotional incentives offered for them all. Dustin was the second Reliance representative in the same day that talked to me for as long as I needed to explain many details and answer all my questions. Dustin even responded to my many text messages into the later evening to clarify things even more. Once I decided with the option I wanted Dustin was very good in terms of helping me along the way, with the sales agreement, the scheduling of the work, the pre install instructions and then checking with me post install that everything was ok. The two Reliance technicians that came to do the work were on time, and very professional; my new air handler was installed and tested for heat and cool scenarios. The technicians even helped me with a small little thing that I have wanted to do which was to put a 3" PVC pipe extender, 12" long on the boiler venting air intake pipe. All in all, the whole experience with Reliance has been 100% enjoyable and my HVAC system is running to my expectations now. I would use Reliance again in the future to deal with my HVAC system.     Furnace check

    Very professional work. Excellent service and the person was very knowledgeable. Everything was explained to me in detail. I would definitively recommend this company and service to friednds and family.

    Water tank

    Ian was amazing took Time to explained everything wasn't rushing to get out of there if I have any issue I will be getting Ian back to do my work,

    Heating and Air Conditioning

    Phil #0950 came by today to service my a/c , furnace and water tank. He was very friendly and efficient and answered all my questions with ease. He gave me excellent advise on how to properly use my equipment. great service 5 stars

    boiler inspection

    the technition Ron #1582 was very polite and considerate by introducing himself and covering his shoes when entering the house. He worked quickly and seamed knowlegable about his work. Thank you

    Kitchen plumbing

    I needed Reliance to check my kitchen Fauset to see if/ where the leak was. The service personnel was courteous, offered options and explained what he will do to fix the issue.
