    Their rental contract is biggest scyam do not rent

    Immediately after I bought my home 5 years back...I had an uninvited guest from reliance who then said to me he works in a government and wants to inspect the status of my water heater...literally 2nd day after I bought my house....I relief in the information and without having to check the authenticity of that person's words I allowed him to come in... He recommend me for tankless option as it will save huge area in my tiny basement plus will help reduce my utilities compared to the tank which was from enbridge....also based on the size of house 3 stories townhome with 4 washrooms...he recommend upgraded tankless which has better flow.. I okayed...as he said no costs involved only $49...all works dine...including replacement installation and any service if needed... No complaints as it's running fine...now that i wanna sell my place and get rid of rental contract I have all kind of fees charges...its basically making you pay throughout your life and the cost of unit is only 1500 if I buy new one...and u get enough financing options with variable terms now to own the machine without getting into a contract for indefinite.... Do not rent..especially with reliance..rather buy in financing....would br much wise and financially sound.. They try to scare u what if the machine will break and all...trust me it won't and if u want security from that unforeseen just add a couple of dollars and get it insured...

    Furnace air conditioner instalation

    We were very happy with oursalesperson Jason. He was available for all our many questions. We were very impressed with the two young installers Jeff and Tristan. They were very knowlegable about the workings of the new equipment and how to use it properly. Tristan and Jeff were beyond patient with all our questions and helped us light our gas fire place.     furnace

    Jordan was very helpful and patient with any questions we had about the different programs available to purchase/rent a furnace. He described in detail the contract with us and the benefits of the new furnace. We would highly recommend his service. Was not in a rush and very thorough, making us feel secure in our decision to go with Reliance.

    New furnace

    I would highly recommend both men for your home comfort needs. Polite, professional, knowledgeable, kind, explained everything easily and thoroughly in understandable terms. Will ask for them specifically as they are trustworthy and the only ones we'll ask for. Thank you.

    Hot Water Tank - Newmarket

    The Service technician is knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. He gave me a few tips on my equipment so that I know what’s to expect! I would highly recommend to go with Reliance because of the staff working with this company.

    Overdue Inspection and Service

    My older furnace was working fine, but I had neglected to have regular inspections and maintenance service for several years. I phoned for an appointment with Reliance, as I have a hot water rental with them. Technician "Matt" and his apprentice from the Burlington location arrived the next day. I requested the "Cadillac" inspection and service, and these two professionals literally took my furnace apart and *as meticulously as I would have been, had I the skills*, cleaned every tiny part, and relatively quickly reassembled it into a fine working machine! Not like new (~thirty years old ha ha), but perfect working order, and now peace of mind. There was no sales pressure, progress during cleaning was explained to me in layman's terms, as it was obvious I was interested in what they were doing, and even though I tried insisting they could wear their winter boots in my home without concern, they insisted in covering them with slip covers. This service was earlier this morning, and I've already told two of my friends about my satisfaction. I will definitely continue annual maintenance with this company in the future. Professional, with advice, not pressure.

    Deston Lyons and Lucas plumbing technician

    These guys are incredible! They not only COMPLETELY fixed my burst piping, they wrote out and provided me with my copy of events the moment they finished and were gentlemen - a quality I appreciate. Thank you, truly, for your work today.

    Furnace Installation

    It was unfortunate that our furnace needed replacing however dealing with Reliance Home Comfort was indeed a very pleasant experience. Everyone was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. From start to finish, we are very satisfied with the level and service we received. & know that when it comes to maintenance of our new furnace, Reliance will provide excellent customer service and follow up. Christine was excellent and very informative. ??

    Hot Water Heater replacement

    Our hot water heater was leaking. My husband phoned to explain the problem and was given clear instructions to turn off the hot water which he did. The person who received the call was very courteous and arranged to have it serviced that day. Reid phoned before coming as I had asked. He introduced himself as he came in and got right to work. Reid made everything easy for us that day! He figured out the best route in and out of our house to replace the tank. At the end I got an update and Reid said we would have hot water in 45 minutes. That was great news on a day where schools were shut down due to icy weather! The people are great at Reliance. The 4 hour window however is very awkward as we were stuck at home waiting. In the future it would be much better to let the customer know approximately when they should be back at home. Other than that thank you for looking after us in a professional manner.

    Furnace not working

    Called last night for service (have service agreement) as furnace would not turn on. Was given an appointment time for today between 10 & 2. Service Technician called within the specified time and was onsite in 5 minutes. Diagnosed a faulty thermostat. Has ordered a new one.
