    Water Heater

    Recently had work done to our water heater. Service rad great beginning from start to end. Technician Jordan went above and beyond. He was courteous and respectful and displayed the utmost professionalism. Great job Jordan!!

    Plumbing protection plan

    Excellent service. I am very impressed. Tim was very nice answering my queries. He did a good job replacing mixer valve on the water heater tank. I give 5 starts to the techinican who performed the service and to Reliance home comfort who arranged the service call as soon as I had the issue of getting no hot water in my home. Thanks.

    My contract calls for an electrostatic filter. When the furnace was installed filters were out of stock. Two months later I contacted Reliance and was promised the filter ASAP. In the interim, I contact Reliance three more times only to be told it was dropped off at my house. Needless to say I wasn't home and my tenant checks my house regularly both inside and out and no filter was ever seen. I told Reliance to call my tenant prior to delivery to make sure someone is home and she will let them so they can install the filter. I haven't heard a word since. You owe me $500. because the contract was not fulfilled. Contract # E3244932. July 2019. Henri Motard.

    Excellent Service

    Our furnace was well over 20 years old and finally quit working. Everyone at Reliance was so professional and helped in every way they could. I first spoke with Deston who was able to get everything in motion. Once Dave came out to our home to check our furnace, it was very clear that we needed a new one. Their sales representative Glenn went over all of our options. Matt & Andy replaced our furnace and were very professional, friendly and completed the installation in a timely manner. Everyone was so pleasant to deal with and explained everything we needed to know. We are very pleased with the entire process!

    Toni R was a big help and had explained the services and options in detail. She had us booked in the next day for a new furnace install. The technicians were great and helpful. Both before with repairing the old furnace and installing the new. Most customer service reps are polite and try to fit you in especially during emergencies. My only complaint is to the customer service rep who took my call Wed evening Jan 30th at 6:45 pm- she told me that no one was available and didn’t see the point to send out a tech because the part was not in. Told me this 2x. My temp inside was 18 and dropping with no working furnace. The temp was dropping down to -39 that night and she was not concerned. Told me I had to wait until the next morning 7-11am for someone to come out. Furnace was installed Feb 1- unfortunately there was a defective/ broken part the tech were not aware of. My kids were at home and realized no heat was on. My neighbors came over to help them and called customer service. It appears the same rep answered and said no one was available. My neighbor told her to send a person out immediately as temp was only 14 inside. Tech came out and had to replace a part. He was not impressed with what rep had stated on the phone both times. Poor customer service on her part when she is representing Reliance. Great experience as a whole except for customer service rep noted above.

    This was not the company that you can trust

    I had a water heater installed back in 2009. Because continuous increase of the rent from Reliance, I decided to go for my own equipment. Not a chance. For Reliance, the contract is for ever. No matter how much you try to get away from them, it is almost impossible unless you pay ridicule penalties for an old equipment. I did not even have my signature on the rental contract and still for them the contract was valid. I had to remove the old water heater and deliver to Reliance warehouse otherwise they were not going to remove it without $400. Instead I got my new water heater for $1200, installed. Do not waste your money with them. Instead buy your own water heater and furnace. It will cost you a lot less money and headache.

    On Going Issue

    After a while in figuring out what the issue was and how to solve it, Reliance was persistent in helping me out. Today I had a plumber assess the job and finally got it fixed! He was very thorough and explained everything to me so that I could understand! He stayed later to make sure it was working and assured me that it would be fine. Also, told me to call if it wasn’t working for some reason! Very professional and understanding!!!! Thanks Kyle!!! Very much appreciated!!! He gets a +10!!!

    Furnace

    PLEASE SHARE MY STATUS A week ago today my furnace broke down and we are sitting at 5 degree weather inside, at some points even lower. Reliance showed up next day to order us a part that was needed for our furnace and it has yet to show up. We've called them numerous times everyday and all they had to say was the part is on its way, and to buy ourselves portable heaters. Reason for posting, is for as many people to share as possible and maybe I can get my furnace fixed before my pipes freeze or worse, my family.

    Water Tank Replaced/ Water Softener

    Troy-excellent service rep, pleasant, curtious. and polite. Cleaned area after job, and answered concerns that we had. Very efficient, came within schedule time frame. Recommended and scheduled a water softener sales rep to come. Ken is an excellent Sale Rep. He is professional, courteous, polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. He explained in detail the functions of the water softener, answered any concerns we had, and no pressure tactics were used to make the sale. During one of our conversations with Ken, we mentioned one of our dual flush toilets was not working properly, so he took the initiative to look at it, and found out the flush control button was off balance. He adjusted the part and the toilet now works perfectly! He went above and beyond with his service.

    Combi Boiler Switch

    Had a bad experience with one of their guys, but their installation manager was amazing and sorted it out with me directly. He was kind, communicative and honestly just a very real human being. Thank you Rishie!
