    Furnace, air conditioner and water heater

    Scott waters was wonderful. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me choose the best system for my house for the best cost for us. He made me feel comfortable and secure in my chose. I'd recommend him to anyone

    Humidifier Installation

    Amy Anderer at Reliance has excellent customer service skills and puts her customer first. She listens and gives the options as well as recommendations. Charles installed my humidifier on the furnace today- something I had postponed doing since moving in. He called on his way- I am a huge fan of expected arrival confirmation calls. He was courteous, professional, left the furnace area tidy . His work was top notch. Very knowledgable and a genuinely good person on top of this. He cared to do the job right.

    Very good price, all-in package, professional installation

    Reliance gave us a thorough scan of its range of heating and aircon options on offer, as well as available rebates. Our final choice was a ten-year all-inclusive rental contract, which works very well for our financial planning. Our advisor was professional and personable, and arranged for both asbestos remediation and furnace installation on a schedule that worked for us. The installation team was thorough and professional. Very satisfied to date. Our only "but" at the moment is that we've just reached the end of the beginning: the choice of a furnace and aircon system, and the installation of the furnace. Hence, we can't comment on the aircon, or ongoing service.

    Furnace

    My furnace turns of before reaching its desired setting and wont start until I turn on and off its switch. Called Reliance and sent the technician (Ruel). After fixing the unit, he waited awhile to make sure that its really working and went the extra mile to educate me about the furnace. He is very professional and knowledgeable.

    New furnace

    Wonderful service we received in getting a new furnace! Matt M and Andy A did an amazing job on the installation, were very professional, clean, explained everything and in great time. Scott, who sold us the furnace was very informative, he answered every question we had, helped us get the best deal he could and worked as fast as he could to get us to where we needed to be with the prep for the new furnace. Recommend all three guys to anyone!

    Product

    My mother needed a new furnace and also wanted to get Air Conditioning as well. The gentleman, Vince, came to give a quote. He was very kind, funny, and even joked around with my little girl who was talking with him. The information he presented us with convinced my mother to rent her furnace/AC with Reliance and the payment per month is not that bad. His colleagues who came to install the equipment were kind, knowledgeable and got a few chuckles from my daughter who kept calling them "gentlemen". They answered all our questions, showed us how to use the thermostat and left us information sheets. They inspected the areas they needed to work in, installed everything that was needed, and cleaned up any messes that they made. I loved that they used covers on top of their shoes so they didn't get the floor/carpet wet since it is winter time right now. I also liked that they put drop cloths down to walk atop to keep their mess down as much as possible. I felt comfortable to talk with them and ask questions that I had. I recommend the team that came to my mothers home. Awesome guys.

    Somthing fishy

    Now i have to question Home Stars who I did trust and recommend. Reliance has nothing but horrible ratings outside of this site. What up? Hot water tank failed. 2 weeks later, 4 visits (taking days off work) + 2 stand ups. Unqualified and some not WET CERT ( legal to work with gas) to determine tank is finished. Very pushy to install an electric tank for their ease. Complete fail. I cannot believe the anount of promises and disconnect within this organized. I doubt homestar will post this as they must be getting greased to have a pos rating. All I hear now are complaints. Im in media so doesnt matter. This post will be documented as well to test homestars. My new mossion.

    Lucky to be alive. Carbon monoxide 2xs!

    Lucky to be alive. TWO times I've had Carbon monoxide alarms in my house with fireman getting me to leave because it was unsafe. After the first time, Reliance took a week to fix the furnace and assured me it wouldn't happen again. I should have insisted they replace it, but because it's cheaper, they just repair. Fireman said this time it was very high readings in the bedroom where we were sleeping. It was serviced 3 months before! All they offered for compensation was credit on future rentals. They left a ticking time bomb in my house because it was cheaper and they want me to stay with their company?! Glad to be alive-no thanks to Reliance.

    furnace

    Terrible. My furnace broke down in -20 weather at about 4pm on a Sunday. I was scheduled to have a tech come in between 1-5pm the following day. The technician didnt make it till 7pm, all to tell me he didnt have the material to fix it. I had to call back the following day at noon (as I never got a follow up call) to schedule for a tech to come fix it. the earliest appointment was 7-11am the following day. it is now 1pm and the tech is still at least an hour away! wasted my whole day waiting. so I figured I'd write some reviews while I wait in the cold.
