    Heat pump Installation

    Quick, clean and neat work. Very professional, and well explained before the installers left. More than satisfied.

    Hot water tank

    Service was prompt and courteous, Nick was the best, he explained the work and fixed the problem.

    Furnace Maintenance Contract not Honoured

    We have a monthly furnace maintenance contract which includes an annual servicing call. I typically have this done in early autumn. In 2022 when I called to book the appointment they said the earliest they could come was mid-February, five months away! The reason was that they were very short-staffed. But they assured me that it would count as our 2022 servicing. They did come on February 16 2023 as promised, and the technician again assured me that it would be considered our 2022 call. And he suggested I book for autumn 2023 in June. So I just tried to book my appointment for October 2023. And I was told to call back in December and book for 2024. The computer system wouldnt permit another 2023 booking. I asked to speak to a supervisor who could override the system and was told there was no point, because other customers had made the same complaint and no solution had been found. Yet Reliance has not offered to refund the $300 paid in 2022 for which we received no servicing, due entirely to their staff shortage. I would absolutely not buy a maintenance contract from this company as they will not honour their commitment.

    Excellent Team

    Justin, our salesperson, was fantastic. His demeanor was upbeat, friendly, and professional. He was knowledgeable in every aspect of the product and answered my trillion questions. He explained our unit (Carrier furnace and AC) and worked out our monthly payments until I was satisfied that we could afford the payments. He also showed us the money we would save by going with this unit, as opposed to our old furnace. He was great to work with and never pushy. Pushy people do not get my business. Then, when the System Control unit was installed, I was bothered because Carrier has a newer unit on the market that Reliance doesn't have in stock yet. Justin called his contact (someone outside of Reliance) to ensure I could have this unit; he will be switching it when it comes in next week. Justin promised to call me the following day with an update and did so. He also offered to return to our home and show us how the unit works and said to call him if I had any further questions. I had a ton of questions, and can be somewhat demanding, and Justin was a pro. The team that installed our unit (Bill and Natalie) was also excellent. They were friendly, professional, and, again, most helpful. You have a great team with Justin, Bill, and Natalie, Reliance. My husband and I are happy customers. Thank you!

    Leaking A/C Unit fixed

    Had a leaking A/C in the basement. Man came in and diagnosed it with low refrigerant, sent someone over the next day. The tech arrived within the time frame and was professional. Everything was fixed and no mess remained. Fantastic service. I have the protection plan so the only cost was my monthly subscription (around 50) where the actual repairs would have cost me 700+. Highly recommend getting the subscription plan.

    Furnace Maintenance Agreement and Hot Water Tank

    Had maintenance agreement on Furnace. Stopped working mid-January on a Saturday. Called Reliance to report. No call by Sunday so jury rigged furnace on myself to get it working. A year later, called on Friday evening mid-January to report furnace not working. No call by Sunday so called again and heatedly explained to call centre worker (he was in the Philippines, a tropical country) to have someone call me. A tech called and said he could not come until Tuesday. Called company who installed furnace on Sunday, and tech was there in 90 minutes. Hot water tank died on Friday afternoon. Called Reliance and tech showed up Monday morning, and said they would have to order hot water tank (even though it was their equipment already there). No call by Thursday so called for update. After being transferred twice and put on hold four times, told someone would call me before end of day. Received call and told new tank would be installed on Friday. Wrong size tank was ordered. Called local plumber Friday afternoon and new tank will be installed Monday. Spent 10 days without hot water due to Reliances incompetence. Stay away from company at all costs. Maintenance agreements are only good if you keep them in your bathroom for when you run out of toilet paper. Buy a hot water tank from someone else. In the long run, it will be less expensive than renting

    AC replacement

    We had an overall positive experience replacing our AC - from the initial appointment with Mark to when Kyle, Brian and Josh installed our new AC. Once we finalized the details and signed the agreement, the installation was scheduled within the week, at a time convenient for us. They provided a time frame and sent details on how to prepare for the installation. They called in advance of their arrival, they were efficient, walked us through the installation, taught us how to use the thermostat, answered our questions, cleaned up and disposed of our old unit (we love that the old unit will be recycled and money donated to charity). We are completely satisfied. Thank you!

    Plumbing Repairs

    I have a plumbing contract with Reliant. Have used on many occasions and this time toilet tank on two different toilets needed repairs. As usual the service person was cordial, efficient and timely. I highly recommend this service.

    Heat pump

    Great service the installers were very friendly and helpful. They couldnt have done a better job. They were on time and very clean and respectful. The salesman was very quick to respond to questions and very helpful.
