    Watersofener

    Great service I would recommend to anyone. Install was quick and they were very noligable. The representative that came was amazing at making sure all questions and conserns where addressed before install.

    AC installation was fast and painless

    My recent air conditioning installation was smoother than I could have imagined. From my original phone call to the call centre to the completion of installation was less than 48h and everyone I interacted with (the call-taker, Jeff the salesman, and the technicians) were friendly, timely, considerate and customer-focused. I couldnt' have asked for a better experience

    Annual furnace maintenance

    We are very fortunate to have had Rule, a HVAC technician from Reliance, come out to perform an annual maintenance. He exuded extraordinary professionalism and knowledge as he ensured all was working fine and made the right recommendation that will help us in the long run. We strongly recommend Rule to everyone out there.

    new furnace

    Needed a new furnace had Reliant come to house and we bought a furnace from them at a good price which they installed the next day. Very pleased with their repairman, sales representative and their installers.

    Water softener, furnace, air conditioner, water heater

    We rent all these items for max 150$ a month with zero problems and whenever there is a problem, they are always here to fix within decent time and if they can’t fix it they replace it the next day. Very happy!!!

    AC repair service

    Booked an appointment for AC repair due to it not blowing out cold air. HVAC technician arrived a little late after the cut off time of my appointment but this is fine by me. The technician is pleasant to deal with but this is the only good thing I can say about this service. Service-wise, I'm very disappointed because instead of concentrating his effort in trying to diagnose the problem with my AC correctly, he seems to be more interested in convincing me to replace my "old" AC unit with a rental AC unit from Reliance Home Comfort. He did tell me that there may be something wrong with the breaker switch but he's not certain that replacing the breaker used for my AC will solve the problem and is telling me that he'll have to charge me more than $300 just for this attempt. An attempt that he can't guarantee to work. So I asked him why not just try replacing the breaker switch first to see if it fixes the problem. If not, then he can move on to the next test that he'll be doing to try to fix the AC unit. He then told me that the next diagnostic test that he'll performing might require me to pay for a repair job amounting to more than $1000 which is quite ridiculous. I decided not to go through with the repair since I'm not convinced with the amount of troubleshooting he did and him looking more to convince me to just go for the AC rental instead of properly diagnosing the problem with my AC smells fishy. I still gave him the benefit of a doubt and just paid for the $111.87 ($99+13%HST) diagnostic fee and just asked somebody else (not from Reliance) to look into the problem with my AC unit. Long story short, the person I approached next was able to trace the problem quickly which basically just involved moving the AC breaker switch one notch lower in the electrical panel box so that it will be able to provide the necessary voltage that is needed by my AC unit. The AC breaker might have been moved by the people working on the renovation of our basement when they where doing electrical wiring work. After being made aware of the simplicity of the problem, I believe this should have been easily identified by the Reliance HVAC technician had he just concentrated on troubleshooting the problem instead of pre-judging that the age of the AC unit is what caused it to not work anymore. I feel that the price I paid for the diagnostic fee is not even worth the diagnostic work done by the HVAC technician Reliance sent. During the past, I was able to avail of the service from Reliance Home Comfort to fix a problem with my furnace and had no problem with it but this recent experience made me lose my trust in this company and I have doubts of availing their service again if ever any of my HVAC appliances experiences any problem.

    service

    The repair man (Ron) that came to check our hot water tank was here in less than a couple of hours of our call. He was efficient and informative. He was very patient in explaining some of the other contract plans that were available to us. On a personal note he also gave us some medical information for my husband when he knew he had a condition that a family member of his had. We appreciated this very much because of his interest.

    AC Repair

    My AC unit was not powering on and I called under my home comfort package to have a service call put in. The tech (Tom) was extremely knowledgeable and knew how to get to the root of the issue without any hesitation. He was great to kindly explain what he found to be the problem (I needed a new thermostat) and fixed it on the spot. Great service and fantastic experience with Reliance today! Thanks Tom :-)

    Great service Keelan

    Reliance tech Keelan #110502 came to fix some plumbing issues. He was very kind and professional. He was smart and skillful. He fixed all the problems and gave great advise. We need more people like Keelan. Humble and cares about the job. Thanks.
