    Customer Service

    We recently had to call Reliance to add name onto our account. The lady we spoke to was very hard to understand, and we kept having to ask her to repeat herself. She did not seem to understand that all we wanted was to add wife's name, so there would be no issues in the event of the husband's passing. In the end she tried to sell us insurance or added protection, which we did not want. A 5 min. conversation became a 15 or 20 minute one to get the results we wanted. It would be nice if customer service was in Canada with a clear English speaking person

    Furnace Replacement

    We began having issues with our furnace, yay leaking water.... A service tech came in and told us we needed to replace our furnace because it was cracked internally. The next day John was at our door, and on time I might add, to talk to us about our options for replacement. He got us a great deal on a unit for rent, with central air, that is not only going to improve our air quality but also decrease our utility bills due to it's much higher efficiency. Thank you very much to John and the Reliance team for your speedy response time and all your help making sure we have safe heat in our home for our family.

    Installation of a water heater

    Frank Ondracka was out co-ordinator for the project. He was readily available to communicate at any time. He showed up on time and was very courteous. I feel he really enjoys his job and it shows. He is a real asset to Reliance. Thanks Frank@

    Water heater not functioning properly.

    Technician, Chad, was very respectful. Went thru what was going on aND why Pickering having some issues with calcium build up which effects the water heater. Seems to understand whats happening. I appreciated his explanation and he was a really nice person.

    Service

    Randy came to check our hot water heater, it is about 16-17 years old, saw there were issues, recommended what to do, and got next day service for me, very professional, informative with out being pushy:). Would recommend for hot water tank service!

    Rick B, RNK70078 Furnace Support

    Furnace up and decided to heat the house intermitently, so I called up to have somebody look at it. Customer Service (Jen) on the phone was spot on and arranged to have a technician sent out that day, as well as book our annual furnace inspection (furnace coverage is included with our hot water heater rental). Rick phoned to say he was en route, to be arriving within five-to-ten minutes. I informed him over the phone that the furnace did come on since my initial call, but there seemed to be a performance issue, as I had to cycle power to the unit in order to get the flame to ignite. When Rick showed up within the stated time, I told him that over the past couple of years, there had been a couple of instances where there had been a build-up on the motor that caused an obstruction, and that the filter had been changed in early December. Rick worked his magic and confirmed there was a bit of an obstruction forming and took care of it. Rick is awesome - everybody should be like Rick. He was pleasant and showed me some stuff with regard to a fault indicator on my furnace that could help diagnose future issues. If I have one complaint overall with the company, it is to do with the calls to my cel phone inquiring whether or not I want to upgrade this or get a new furnace, etc; I always decline, as my job could see me relocate in a month's notice, and we're not looking to invest in a new furnace or anything like that for the foreseeable future. I would prefer things like this get sent to my e-mail instead of done over the phone, as a couple of times in the past, there seemed to be a bit of pressure from the agent to purchase. Thank you.

    Forced-air furnace and A.C.

    Over the last three weeks or so, our 'old' furnace was on it's last legs. Reliance repair people did their best to keep it going but Sherre and I decided it was time to get ourselves a more reliable system that we could count on during the stressor months of our winters and summers. Two young gentlemen, named Ryan and Aaron came to the house at 9:00 this morning and installed the entire system by 1:00pm. They were very helpful in answering questions (of which I had many) and talked me through the entire operation process. What more could we have asked for? Nothing, really. They were professional, courteous and helpful.

    home heating and a/c

    furnace has a cracked heat exchanger. called 4 different companies. reliance seemed to be willing to work with us on price and service. have some concerns about the 16 month no payments no interest. John (salesman) went to his boss and most of my concerns were delt with. all in all a very pleasant experience. so far.

    Furnace Assessment and Installation

    I was very pleased with the service that I received from the team at Reliance, Ali, the technician, Momo, the service representative, and the individuals who installed the new furnace. The work was completed within less than 36 hours of my call to Reliance. The team was polite and very accommodating.
