    Hot water rental

    Our water heater - broke down and we were sent the support on the same day . Mr Ricky was very efficient and answered all our questions and was friendly. we appreciate the service . Keep going on this road- excellent service.

    Hot water heater

    After waiting 4 days with no hot water, the tech showed up and replaced the tank. Not impressed that I had to wait 4 days but the tech John Savage was fantastic!!!!!

    Water heater service

    My approx. one year old rental water heater's output volume had dropped quite low over the proceeding month. Servicemen Wes C and Eric S. attended my home and arrived as scheduled. They asked for details of my complaint, then listened to undertstand the issue. The servicemen checked a few items and quickly provided a diagnosis. They then explained the fault and repair to me in plain language. They had to go out somewhere to pickup a replacement part but returned quickly as promised. The repair was completed in short order, work area cleaned up and they left with a 'Merry Christmas' exchange. Best experience ever with a home repair. I pay a monthly fee for Reliance's Home Service/Warranty Package. Ocassionally I wonder if I get good value for this charge. Today it proved worthwhile. I have had Reliance Home Comfort repairmen into my home on a few occasions. They have not failed to fully satisfy me each time.

    Furnace Repair/Replace

    Scheduled an inspection for our furnace and it was determined the secondary heat exchanger had a leak which meant replacing it, or replacing the entire furnace. Given the age of the furnace we decided to replace the whole thing and opted to replace the a/c as well. The sales person was very thorough outlining the high-end and mid-range options, but didn't mention the Economy Series. We chose to rent a mid-range furnace and a/c (and would have even if the Economy option(s) had been reviewed). Installation was the next day, fast, clean, and the technicians took the time to explain everything we needed to know. Well done!

    Service yearly maintenance

    Bernie Cullen came to do a yearly maintenance Explained everything to me while introducing new things that reliance has to offer now. He was great friendly to talk to. Makes u feel relaxed and ur in good hands . Thanks agian

    Service

    We had a furnace problem. Customer service was very polite but not helpful in terms of passing on the information. However, mechanics we were dealing with and who actually diagnosed and fixed the problem were very knowledgeable and friendly. Chris, Mario and Derek are simply the best. Guys, thank you very much for your help.

    Warmth in winter

    new furnace

    Branch and Aj installed my furnace today. They were very efficient and friendly. Very personal able and explained everything well. Would definitely recommend to others, very very pleased with the service I received.

    Failed to fix furnace

    We have a Reliance protection & maintenance plan that covers, among other things, our furnace. The furnace broke down yesterday. We called Reliance. The tech came and cleaned a sensor. The furnace stopped working again that evening. It was displaying the same error code as it had in the morning. We called and made another appointment, for 7-11 this morning. The tech came close to 11. Turned out that Reliance dispatched a hot water heater tech... to fix a furnace. So he left and we made a new appointment, for 10-2 pm. This tech did not come at all. Instead he reported (incorrectly) to Reliance that he had come and no one had answered (I would have heard the doorbell). I called and made yet another appointment. Supposedly the tech will come between 3 and 5 today. But I'm not holding my breath.

    Fan in fireplace failed,had to be replaced

    The fan in our Fireplace stopped working and it is the sole heating device and we have a Protection Plan on the device.Ian B attended our house after we received a new fan from the Postal Service.What a fantastic job; he completed this repair quickly and thoroughly.Also showed me for the first time ever, just exactly how this fireplace works and areas that the heat came out .as well as areas I should examine from time to time.The next time we ever have a problem,I will ask for this Serviceman!!He also tested for carbon monoxide for the first time ever.We do have a carbon monoxide alarm system near the fireplace and in our basement which contains a gas water heater as well as a gas dryer.A VERY satisfied customer G.Dennis Robertson
