    Furnace/air conditioner rebates

    I've now been waiting for almost 3.5 months for Reliance to send me an email with a code for a rebate. I can't file the paperwork online with the gov't until I get this code. I've called 4 times. I've waited on hold for 25 mins. I am still waiting for my code. Even my sales guy has requested the code on my behalf and hasn't received it. Don't listen to them when they say you'll get $2500 in rebates. You may .... but not for more than 6 months!!! Worst customer service ever. I've talked to their ignite team, sales team, billing team and sales team. I won't be paying their bills anymore until I get my rebate!

    Water heater

    Philip was great. He was here on time. Came back to check on functionality. Was conscious to maintain cleanliness of the work area. Very good attitude. Didn't leave till the water furnace was working. Showed me how to detect malfunctions in the water tank.

    Furnace and a/c

    We were very pleased with our recent purchase of a Reliance furnace and a/c. Ren, our salesperson, was helpful, courteous, and always quick to answer our questions by phone or email. Paul, the installation manager, and Tracy and Mason the installers, made sure we received the right size of furnace and that it was installed properly. We would recommend Reliance to our family and friends.

    replacement hot water heater installation

    Andy from Reliance Brantford was friendly, efficient and was in and out of our house on December 12th in very quick order which was amazing considering the mess our street was in from the overnight snow. We are very pleased with the service. Andy returned on December 13th with Mitch to pick up our old hot water tank as it was full of lime and two people were needed to get it out of our basement. Again, it was a very positive and efficient service call. It was obvious that Andy and Mitch worked well as a team getting the extremely heavy tank out of the basement and out of my house while keeping my house free of snow and mess. Thank you for the excellent service.

    hotwater

    wes is the 3rd person to fix my water heater. He checked all parts and found 2 parts that he needed to replace. I feel comfortable with Wes and his work. Thank you reliance for sending the right guy to do the job properly.

    very bad response times

    Tried calling many times for service to the rental. Always on hold and can never get a representative. When they do come they never get it right and have to come back many times to fix the fix :(

    Furnace cleaning and repair

    Our technician Jason was on time and very professional. I also had questions about heating my home more efficiently and he was able to give me helpful advise. We would recommend Reliance.

    Not Properly Staffed/Equipped for Service Calls

    Our furnace stopped working on a Friday evening in below freezing weather. We called to request a service call and they told us they could send someone out on Monday. When we insisted that it would have to be sooner than that since the temperature in our home was 60 degrees and declining rapidly, and we have a house full of kids and animals that we need to keep warm. They told us they could send someone out the next day (Saturday) between 8am-1pm - much better! - but then they apologized because they made a mistake. It would have to be Saturday evening. We asked to speak to a supervisor -- who let us know that we would have to wait until SUNDAY MORNING!! (It's almost noon and we're still waiting.) She said there was absolutely no one available to come out Saturday at any time at all -- the previous rep made a mistake when she told us that. Not impressed with UnReliance Home Comfort and the next call to them will be to have them come and collect their equipment.

    furnace/boiler

    I purchased insurance protection for my furnace/boiler. The service technician, Rick Westgate was fabulous and fixed the issue and stood behind his company's insurance plan. He was quick and explained the problem and I am ever grateful. Thanks Rick. Your company should be honoured to have you.

    replaced Hot water heater, Furnace and Air conditioner

    We returned from Florida to find our hot water heater was not working. I called Reliance and they send a guy the next day. a couple of guys tried to repair it to no avail. I was put in contact with Amy A.. She came the next day to discuss our options. As all of our equipment was aging we decided to replace the Hot water heater, Furnace and Air conditioner. Amy had 2 guys, Mike M and Rob D here the next morning at 8 am. sharp. These 2 guys worked their tails off for 10+ hrs.. They removed the old and replace with new, had everything up and running that evening. The job site was left clean and instructions to run the Equip. was explained and they answered all my questions. Very professional. I would recommend to anyone.
